    Day Matron – Preparatory School

    The School comprises two semi-autonomous Schools for pupils between the ages of 3 – 13 in the Preparatory School and 13-18 in the Senior School.
    The Day Matron is a Preparatory School appointment and will support the House Parents (HP) and the Pastoral Matron in ensuring the welfare of the pupils within the Boarding house teams and act as a model in all areas to pupils within the boarding house.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Providing basic care to the pupils of the particular boarding house
    • Ensuring the general health of the pupils and liaising with the Medical Centre staff on any medical issue.
    • Overseeing the laundry system for the boarding house, ensuring that the pupils are regularly having clothes washed and that the system is working effectively.
    • Responsible for the supervision of cleanliness and organisation in the boarding house.
    • Liaising with the House Parents in matters related to Health & Safety of the pupils in the boarding house.

    Head of Art & Design Technology (Prep School)

    The Role

    St Andrew’s, Prep School is seeking to appoint a appoint a Head of Art & Technology who will be responsible to the Deputy Head Academic for the provision
    of Art throughout the Preparatory School, as well as contributing across all areas of school life. Their chief responsibility will be to provide the highest standards of Art with the aim of achieving excellent learning outcome for each child through outstanding teaching and learning within the department. The Head of Art could
    teach from Years 1 to 8. St Andrew’s Prep School follows the British Curriculum throughout the School. St Andrew’s Prep School is committed to providing a vibrant co-curricular and boarding program to which all staff contribute. A suitable candidate may be offered any of the following positions, Girls boarding houseparent, Assistant Head Pastoral, and Equestrian Manager.

Beyond that we want to have staff who love working as part of a team; who are first class communicators and who are passionate about the subjects and the pupils they teach; who are creative and diligent in their planning; who are adaptable, energetic and resilient.     Head of Art (Senior School)

    The Role

    St Andrew’s Senior School is seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Art to contribute to this vibrant subject. Art is a compulsory subject in Year 9 and a popular examination subject in Years 10-13. There are many opportunities to develop extra-curricular art both within and outside of the school. Painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and computer-generated art are all media with which the students work. St Andrew’s is committed to providing a vibrant co-curricular and boarding program to which all staff contribute.
