    Leadership Manager

    Job Description

    WE is looking for an outstanding Leadership Manager.

    The position will be based in Narok County, Kenya

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Leadership & Empowerment
      • Responsible for creating an effective, positive, learner-centered environment that encourages self-awareness, personal responsibility, dynamic peer-to-peer interaction and collaborative relationships
      • Actively participate in the ongoing development and cultural adaptation of the program through monitoring students’ feedback
      • Measure outcomes and evaluating program effectiveness
    • Facilitation & Course Delivery
      • Complete facilitator training (video and/or live) and submit all training worksheets
      • Participate in weekly calls with WE trainers and mentors
      • Prepare lessons plans, use the course manual and review learning resources for each leadership topic/ session prior to beginning the training session
      • Submit weekly lesson plans and questions to WE supervisor
      • Provide weekly office hours to meet with students for mentorship
    • Reporting
      • Record personal assessments, recommendations and student feedback following each class
      • Submit written reports for each class on various areas such as successes, challenges and suggestions
      • Discuss report with supervisor and mentor
      • Complete and submit feedback questionnaire at the end of each 12- week course
      • Prepare any other reports that may be required on needs basis

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

    • Bachelors’ Degree in any field from a recognized institution
    • Minimum three (3)years’ proven teaching/facilitation experience in Leadership & Empowerment in an institution of higher learning or in community development programs
    • Proven track record of mastery of subject area
    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
    • Proficient in use of IT
    • Ability to relate to and engage youth
    • Ability to inspire, motivate and demonstrate leadership
    • Possession of a positive attitude coupled with an energetic, flexible and compassionate personality
    • Proven ability to exercise good and independent judgment and to act tactfully
    • Willingness to incorporate the program’s principle into their own lives
    • Exhibit general interest in the well being and success of the learners and community
    • A strong track record of working collaboratively with an enthusiastic and committed team

    Clinical Instructor

    WE is looking for an outstanding Clinical Instructor:

    The position will be based in Narok County, Kenya

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Supervising care provided for a group of students (usually 6 to 8 students in a group) while in their clinical rotation.
    • Coordinating with clinicians at the clinical site to make student-patient assignments are complete and to standard.
    • Teaching students how to perform duties and procedures in the clinical are and answering their questions and needs.
    • Evaluating students’ clinical work as per Nursing Council, ministry of health and the health facility requirement.
    • Discuss with students their concerns and/or problems directly or indirectly related to learning experience. Is responsible to assist the student to develop an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
    • Provide clinical, classroom, and clinical simulation lab instruction. Supervise student groups in clinical areas (maintains presence in the facility during entire student clinical time).
    • Maintain clinical standards and course expectations throughout each course or term. Evaluate and grade student performance. Meets with students at midterm for formal evaluation and again at the end of the course as to progress and performance.
    • Maintain the professional practice knowledge base needed to instruct learners in contemporary nursing practice.
    • Participate in evaluation activities as needed. Maintain faculty expectations as required by the WE College and the management.

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

    • Degree in Bachelor of Nursing degree
    • Registered with Nursing Council of Kenya
    • 3 years’ experience in a recognised institution
    • Applicants must have a valid Practising license
    • A great communicator
    • Flexible and open to change
    • Problem solver

    Early Childhood Development Teacher

    WE is looking for an outstanding Early Childhood Development Teacher.

    The position will be based in Narok County, Kenya

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Administer and manage ECDE programmes
    • Develop and facilitate relevant games & activities that will guide learning
    • Develop relevant learning & playing materials
    • Participate in the planning of ECDE programmes
    • Encourage, support, motivate and work interactively with caregivers to develop and implement ongoing goals
    • Support caregiver to providing an environment and opportunities which promote the child’s growth and development
    • Focus on specific tasks, skills or techniques which can be mastered and measured
    • Assist caregivers to structure environments, routines and interactions that contribute to a positive social behavior and support plan for the child

    Minimum Skills and Qualifications Required

    • Diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution
    • Should be conversant with the ECDE syllabus and curriculum delivery
    • Minimum experience if 2 years teaching experience
    • Having a working knowledge of content teaching
    • Have a child approach to teaching
    • A great communicator
    • Flexible and open to change
    • Problem solver
