    Locum Pharmaceutical Technologist – Nairobi

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Review and verify medication orders, counsel patients, and ensure regulatory compliance.
    • Support telepharmacy consultations and collaborate with virtual care teams.
    • Safely handle and dispense medications, monitor adverse reactions, and maintain records.
    • Educate patients on medication use, adherence, and safety.
    • Use telehealth tools for medication management and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications:
    • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Sciences.Licensed/registered Pharmaceutical Technologist.

    UI/UX Developer (Flutter)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1–3 years of experience building apps in Flutter (web and/or mobile production-grade apps required).
    • Solid understanding of UI development, widget composition, animations, and responsive layouts.
    • Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON, auth flows, and backend services.
    • Familiarity with common state management patterns (BLoC preferred and open to others).
    • Ability to write clean, structured, maintainable code — and learn quickly through mentorship.
    • Comfort using AI tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to speed up development and learning.
    • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience with real projects.

    GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

    • Basic understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments is a plus.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

    • Build and maintain core patient and clinician-facing apps using Flutter for Web and Mobile.
    • Implement intuitive, high-performance UI/UX with a strong focus on minimal friction and accessibility.
    • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs for authentication, telemedicine, pharmacy, payments, and logistics.
    • Work with designers to translate Figma/UX wireframes into production-ready Flutter components.
    • Develop multilingual UIs (English, Swahili, and eventually more languages).
    • Build reusable components, state management patterns, and scalable architecture using best practices (e.g., BLoC, Riverpod, Provider).
    • Implement real-time features for chat, consultations, notifications, and delivery tracking.
    • Ensure high code quality through testing, linting, documentation, and structured reviews.
    • Optimize performance across devices, browsers, and network conditions common in African markets.
    • Contribute to user research, product iteration, and improving the end-to-end telehealth journey.

    Pharmacist

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR;

    • Proven experience setting up or scaling pharmacy operations.
    • Strong operational and workflow management skills.
    • Ability to lead, train, and motivate pharmacy teams.
    • Strong relationship-building skills with:
    • Insurance providers
    • Brokers
    • Pharmaceutical suppliers and distributors
    • Experience with e-pharmacy or digital pharmacy workflows (highly desirable).
    • Up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy regulations and best practices in Kenya.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support the setup, optimization, and daily running of pharmacy operations.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance, inventory accuracy, and quality assurance.
    • Coordinate with insurers, brokers, and suppliers to improve service delivery.
    • Lead pharmacy staff and contribute to performance and workflow improvements.

    Support digital pharmacy processes including:

    • e-prescriptions
    • virtual consult fulfilment
    • order processing
    • medication delivery workflows
    • Provide clinical pharmaceutical guidance when needed.
    • Contribute to new pharmacy service innovations and expansion projects.

    Software Engineer

    QUALIFICATIONS;

    • 2–4 years of experience in software development (real-world projects or contributions required).
    • Experience with Python, Golang (preferred) or both — strong willingness to learn others quickly.
    • Solid understanding of backend development, APIs, databases, and distributed systems architecture.
    • Ability to write and explain clean, readable code and willingness to improve through reviews and mentorship.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker).
    • Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MariaDB) and NoSQL databases, plus caching technologies such as Redis.
    • Curiosity, creativity, and proactive problem-solving from first principles.
    • Comfort using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate productivity, learning, and development.
    • A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience through real projects
    • Thinking clearly in systems before tools is required — and will be tested.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

    • Help design and build features for our telehealth and pharmacy platforms.
    • Write and maintain backend services in Golang and Python (develop and ship fast).
    • Collaborate with designers and senior engineers to bring new ideas to life.
    • Integrate APIs for payments, logistics, identity verification, and telehealth tools
    • Work on dashboards and user-facing tools for patients, clinicians, and operations teams.
    • Help test, debug, and improve system performance and reliability.
    • Follow best practices in cloud-based deployments, observability, and secure development.
