    Mobile Software Engineer (Flutter/iOS)

    Job Description

    Are you a software developer with a mobile and UI/UX background? Are you looking for a remote job? Then we have the opportunity for you! We are an American based remote company, looking to hire a Mobile Software Engineer with a knack for user experience and understanding of the Mobile Commerce space, specifically in Fin-tech, located within Africa, to join our exciting remote team. We are one of the first movers to bringing Cryptocurrency to the masses in Africa and the Middle East. As a Mobile Engineer, you will make an extremely high impact on a small, fast scaling team. You'll have the ability to help build a product used by thousands of people by taking full ownership of the product. Top candidates are clear communicators who are highly self-motivated; eager to collaborate, exchange knowledge, apply new skills and pitch in for whatever the team needs to ship new code.

    Requirements:

    1. 3 years of experience as a Software Mobile Engineer
    2. Previous experience within financial markets 
    3. Solid experience with building mobile apps using Flutter and deploying/reviewing those apps to the Google Play and Apple App stores.
    4. NodeJS, NUXT, Serverless Framework, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, AWS SQS a Bonus addition to your toolbox
    5. Experience in a software development environment, with capability in back-end development and/or depth of experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Vue, AngularJS, etc.)
    6. Experience driving technical projects, prioritising work, identifying dependencies, facilitating technical decisions and cross-functional team discussions
    7. Experienced in designing and implementing application architectures and code that are highly scalable, available, maintainable, and performant
    8. Ability to work independently while also putting an emphasis on mentorship of those around you
    9. Comfortable collaborating closely with product managers and designers, providing estimates or product ideas that will influence your team's roadmap
    10. Being a thoughtful communicator—some teams are partially or fully distributed so effective written communication is key

    CFO (FinTech/Cryptocurrency)

    Job Description

    We're looking for an experienced finance executive to join our client’s leadership team. We are looking for a business strategist with a financial planning & analysis background as well as the ability to build and lead our finance and accounting teams. You will be working with a diverse team based in over a dozen countries. You will not only lead the standard execution of finance and accounting functions but serve as a key business partner to inform decision-making and strategy at the micro and macro levels.

    The ideal candidate is someone who has:

    1. 5+ Years of experience in a VP Finance or CFO role
    2. Experience with a venture-funded, high-growth technology startup
    3. Experience working in Africa
    4. Work experience or education in the United States and Africa
    5. Working knowledge of cryptocurrency
    6. Experience with transfer pricing
    7. Fundraising experience
    8. Outstanding financial acumen blended with business partnership and leadership skills
    9. Proven track record of financial performance and of being a strong business partner
    10. Exhibit outstanding critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, pinpoint problems and root causes, ask probing questions and develop innovative solutions

    Responsibilities

    1. Advise the CEO
    2. Manage the company's relationships with some of the world's leading FinTech investors
    3. Continue to build out an internal and external finance and accounting team in Africa
    4. Improve and automate FP&A processes, as well as KPI and financial performance reporting against company targets and goals
    5. Assist with the design of internal processes, systems and software to provide critical financial and operational information
    6. Manage liquidity in both fiat currency and cryptocurrencies
    7. Oversee the production of accurate financial statements
    8. Make sure all financial data adheres to current tax laws and regulations
    9. Serve as the primary interface with our external auditor
    10. Maintain a strong financial control environment in compliance with all state and federal requirements
    11. Challenge the status quo with ideas to drive internal efficiencies and growth in revenue based upon solid data analysis
