JOB PURPOSE
World Vision’s global communications team is looking for someone who can help us deliver on our promise to the world’s most vulnerable children through the delivery of high-quality, high-impact multimedia projects.
The Multimedia Producer will play a key role in advancing World Vision’s mission by creating high-quality, impactful multimedia content that amplifies our commitment to the world’s most vulnerable children. This position is primarily focused on video editing and production, requiring expertise in non-linear editing and familiarity with motion graphics, animation, 3D video, and audio production.
The role demands strong project management skills to handle multiple, simultaneous projects and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders across cultures and time zones. Experience in producing multimedia assets aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives for large organizations is highly valued, along with versatility in graphic design and image processing to deliver comprehensive multimedia packages.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Video concept development, including:
- ability to work with clients to ascertain needs and desired outcomes for video projects.
- support video production through creation of visual and creative aids such as storyboards, outlines, mock-ups and other resources to aid the client in developing the video.
- provide input guided by understanding of current trends, audience needs, best practices, technical solutions and options, etc.
- working with stakeholders through the video project to receive and implement feedback and to ensure final output meets expectations.
Video editing and production, including:
- sourcing clips from content producers and Story Hub.
- working with audio (dialogue, music, ambient sound), including subtitles as appropriate.
- developing motion graphics, basic animation, 3D content as needed.
- integrating rounds of feedback.
- producing multiple versions of the same project for different platforms.
- uploading final projects and related project files to World Vision’s digital asset management system.
Administration related to planning and delivering video projects.
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, LICENSE, REGISTRATION, AND /OR CERTIFICATION:
- Editing a variety of styles and lengths of video projects: documentary, informational, web, social and digital short form
- Four to five years’ experience with an agency, design house or other professional video production environment
- Experience collaborating with teams in diverse locations and from different backgrounds
- Comfortable working to short deadlines and demonstrated interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders on several projects simultaneously
- Experience providing different styles and kinds of videos with a similar look and feel in alignment with overall branding guidance
- Delivery of both finished video products and related project packages (superless, split audio, etc.) to allow for local adaptation
- Experience working with a digital asset management platform to source material
- Experience working with motion graphics, animation, 3D and audio production
- Certificate or diploma in video editing or production, or similar
- Portfolio of previous video projects
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent knowledge of non-linear editing software, especially Adobe Premiere; Adobe After Effects
- Excellent knowledge of best practices for video production project management
- Experience shooting video or photos is an asset
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and image editing
Language Requirements:
- Excellent speaking, writing and editing skills in English. Other language/s will be an added advantage.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement:
- Work will be principally homeworking/remote.
- Adjusting to changing priorities or time zones.
- Flexibility in working across cultures and regions.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically or internationally up to 10% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
MAIN RESPONSILITIES:
Technical support
- Liaise with the local administration to mobilize the community for the project interventions.
- Facilitate community meetings in relation to the projects
- To support Health, sanitation and hygiene coverage through various behaviour change methodologies, linkages such as CLTS, integrated health outreaches, nutrition (include infant and young child feeding) etc
- Support various capacity building sessions for the communities such as training the communities on sanitation and nutrition linkages, importance of hand washing with soap at critical times, household water treatment and other hygiene promotion aspects.
- Support the establishment/strengthening of referral mechanisms/processes by community health promotors (CHPs) and Health workers - Monthly meetings with CHPs.
- Support roll-out of Health activities in the AP such as maternal, new born and child health (MNCH) and integration of the same into WASH activities
Quality Assurance-Monitoring, reporting and Documentation
- Support in the coordination of joint monitoring visits between the donor and the national office.
- Participate in evaluation planning and support data collection teams, analysis and interpretation
- Support monitoring on a monthly basis (project indicators progress) and make relevant improvements
- Collect (such as through digital means-m Water) and share information to guide project teams in timely writing and submission of quality reports (Annual, Semi-annul and Monthly Management Reports) in line with WV/grant reporting guidelines and the donor expectation.
- Utilize financial planning tools such as spending plans, work plans based on project activities and budgets.
- Utilize budget estimates and anticipated costs based on programmatic priorities and activities for planning purposes.
- Monitor (with support of the project officer-sanitation and hygiene or other AP WASH and health staff) on a monthly basis the project implementation on budget, on time and on target.
- Advocacy, Fundraising, Engagement with strategic partners, Linkages and networks & partnership development
Participate in mobilizing stakeholders during baselines, evaluations and other relevant programming activities
- Collaborate with community leaders and other partners to plan monitoring activities
- Represent WVK in relevant forums within the AP area
- Support fundraising initiatives for health, sanitation and hygiene such as proposal development.
- Provide support to community led processes of monitoring public service delivery.
- Ensure communities are mobilized and participate in their WASH and health projects
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Diploma in public health/ Environmental health, environmental science, or community health
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in implementing behavior change methodologies in sanitation and hygiene such as Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and sanitation marketing.
- Prior experience working with partners at community level is an advantage
- Good community mobilization and engagement skills needed
- Must be computer literate
- Must be a local resident from Kalapata Ward

Key Responsibilities:
Project planning and implementation
- Work closely with the Integrated Development Officer to coordinate effective and timely implementation of all interventions outlined under activities in the Resilience Protection and Climate Change project.
- Participate in the preparation of overall work plan and budget as well as develop activity plans and budgets for technical support of Resilience Protection and Climate Change Project activities
- Support in the mobilization of project participants to effectively participate in the implementation of project activities.
- Participate in developing different levels of progress report (weekly updates, situational reports, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports)
- Supporting Project Quality Assurance (PQA) through organizing and supporting monitoring visits on L&R interventions.
- Collaborate with relevant ministries and other relevant partners at the County and community levels to ensure integration and high-level implementation of the planned Project activities.
- Work closely with relevant authorities to ensure all economic recovery and market systems interventions deployed in the communities are in alignment with L&R in emergency Standards
- Work together with other staff/ to ensure that key trainings meet the standard required to facilitate, provide knowledge and reinforcement of desired L&R behaviour and practices.
- Ensure that business processes, standards and guidelines related to Resilience Protection and Climate Change Project initiatives are effectively applied in project implementation.
Technical support
- Support in the training of the households on Empowered worldview and tracking on the implementation of the Household Economic plans.
- Support Training of S4T groups on using Dream save applications.
- Support Continuous Coaching and Mentoring of the S4T groups and reporting
- Link the S4T groups to other support services.
- Work with communities and relevant stakeholders to identify key on-farm and off farm value chains to support
- Support project market research on viable value chains
- Ensure the target communities are mobilized and participate in the identified Local Value Chain Interventions
- In consultation with other staff, government and partners sensitize and mobilize the communities to form Project Implementation units, producer groups
- Support produce aggregation and marketing activities of the project
- Work with WVK Officers, local stakeholders and leaders to identify community champions/resource persons for LVCD, Empowered World View and Digitization of farmer records
- In consultation with other staff develop capacity assessment tools for producer groups and develop a capacity development plan
- Facilitate the capacity building of the partners and farmer groups on LVCD activities (Climate Smart Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, post-harvest management and value addition, transformational leadership)
- Facilitate linkages of the savings groups to FAST product to enhance their performance
- Ensure cross cutting themes are integrated into LVCD interventions
- Provide technical support and timely feedback to the AP Manager on the Empowered world view, Savings for Transformation, FAST and LVCD interventions outlined in the project documents.
- Organize meetings with key local value chain actors and farmers to forge effective support of the LVCD interventions
- Ensure adult and child safeguarding during the implementation of the planned interventions
Quality assurance -Monitoring, Reporting, evaluation and Documentation
- Ensure the community champions (LVCD, EWV and S4T) have necessary monitoring tools and are trained on the same
- Develop project monitoring and reporting schedules in collaboration with the various stakeholders
- Work with the community champions/facilitators to continuously train, monitor and mentor the performance of S4T and producer groups along identified value chains
- Clean and Collate project performance data and ensure it is keyed into the relevant Monitoring Information System (MIS) on a monthly basis
- Prepare weekly updates, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual progress reports
- Documentation of key lessons learnt and successes stories from the target farmers
- Continuously track progress of planned activities and outputs in the detailed implementation plan to ensure timely and quality implementation of plans
- Support Monitoring and evaluation of Resilience Protection and Climate Change Project activities in coordination with M&E and relevant stakeholders.
- Support farmer records digitization process and performance tracking in collaboration with community resource persons and relevant private actors
- Together with farmers, partners, conduct regular reflection and learning events
- Support the project data collection during baseline, end line, market assessments and post distribution assessments
Strategic Engagement, Partnership and Networking
- If assigned by the AP manager, represent World Vision in key L&R stakeholder forum/meetings and relevant networks at the Ward and Sub-County levels
- Facilitates linkages of the S4T and farmers groups to micro-finance institutions and skills development institutions
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- The jobholder must have a minimum of a Diploma certificate in agriculture/Agricultural economics/ Developmental Studies or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with communities in either relief or development Livelihood and Resilience/Food security projects
- Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written) with a good uunderstanding the local dialect and context
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and another main email system such as Microsoft Outlook)
- A team player, capable of building the community capacity in economic recovery aspects
- Ability to take initiative, a team leader able to work with minimum supervision
- Cross-cultural sensitivity and emotional maturity
- Ability to maintain performance expectations in diverse cultural contexts
- Understanding and demonstrated commitment to the importance of gender and other key issues in Economic empowerment
- Able to ride a motorbike with a valid license
