We are looking for a technical and customer-focused EDI Analyst to work on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) projects. The role will support EDI connections, data mapping, scripting, testing, and troubleshooting while also communicating with customers and vendors to understand and implement integration requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of EDI, good Python scripting skills, knowledge of JSON, and an understanding of data mapping and integration. Experience with Lua is an advantage but is not mandatory, as candidates with strong Python skills can learn Lua.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the setup and maintenance of EDI connections and integrations.
• Map and transform inbound and outbound data segments based on business requirements.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to understand and clarify integration requirements.
• Assist with setting up and troubleshooting SFTP and AS2 connections.
• Develop and maintain scripts for data transformation and processing.
• Work with JSON data structures and document templates.
• Support Lua scripting for data transformation and integration processes.
• Test EDI mappings, connections, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot integration and data-mapping issues.
• Work closely with Rodney and the technical team on new and existing EDI connections.
• Document mappings, configurations, and integration processes.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
• Good Python scripting skills.
• Understanding of JSON and structured data.
• Ability to map and transform different data segments and formats.
• Basic knowledge of SFTP and AS2 connections.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and vendors.
• Willingness and ability to learn Lua scripting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with EDI platforms, data integration, APIs, or system integrations is an added advantage.
• Experience working with Purchase Orders, Invoices, ASNs, or other EDI business documents is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with customers or vendors on technical requirements and integrations is an added advantage.

Position Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for validating data accuracy, testing APIs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of data-related systems and processes. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of QA fundamentals, strong analytical skills, and a passion for identifying issues before they impact customers or business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing.
• Validate and analyze large datasets to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Test APIs and verify data exchanged between systems.
• Create, execute, and document test cases, test plans, and test results.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Support UAT efforts and help validate business requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and quality practices.

Key Competencies 

• Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing principles, and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Clear understanding of different testing types, including regression testing, UAT, functional testing, and integration testing.
• Experience working with and validating large datasets.
• Basic understanding of SQL and the ability to query data for validation purposes.
• Experience testing and validating APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience writing and executing SQL queries.
• Experience using API testing tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
• Experience writing Python scripts for test automation, validation, or data analysis.
• Exposure to test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Experience with data warehouse, ETL, or data pipeline testing.
