We are seeking one highly experienced, competent and safety-conscious Concrete Pump Truck Operator to operate a ZOOMLION concrete pump mounted on a SITRAK / SINOTRUK 3-axle chassis. This is a specialized equipment-operator position, not a general truck-driving position. The successful candidate must have practical concrete pump operating experience, understand boom deployment and stabilization, concrete pumping procedures, hydraulic systems and construction-site safety. Applicants without genuine concrete pump operating experience are unlikely to be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely drive and position the concrete pump truck at construction sites.
• Assess ground and site conditions before setup.
• Correctly deploy stabilizers or outriggers and the 5-section boom.
• Operate the concrete pump and boom within manufacturer safety limits.
• Coordinate concrete supply with mixer-truck drivers and site teams.
• Monitor concrete flow, pumping pressure and equipment performance.
• Safely manage concrete delivery pipes, hoses, clamps and connections.
• Recognise and respond appropriately to blockages and abnormal pressure.
• Maintain safe clearance from workers, structures, excavations and overhead hazards.
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections.
• Clean and secure the pump, boom and delivery system after operations.
• Identify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Report defects, incidents, breakdowns and safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain accurate equipment and operational records.
• Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a valid Kenyan driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated (Class CE).
• Have substantial heavy-commercial-vehicle and specialized equipment experience.
• Have demonstrable experience operating truck-mounted concrete pumps.
• Understand concrete pumping, boom operation and stabilization procedures.
• Have practical mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Be capable of working around heavy machinery and demanding site conditions.
• Comply fully with Kenyan law, NTSA requirements and company procedures.
• Direct experience with ZOOMLION concrete pumps.
• Experience with SITRAK / SINOTRUK heavy vehicles.
• Experience operating 40m+ concrete pump booms.
• Heavy diesel, hydraulic or plant-equipment experience.
• Experience on major construction projects.
• Clean and verifiable professional driving record.

The operator must comply with applicable Kenyan traffic laws, NTSA requirements, commercial-vehicle regulations, occupational safety requirements, manufacturer operating procedures and company policies. The operator must never compromise personnel safety, vehicle stability, boom safety, concrete-line safety or equipment integrity for speed of operation. Safety, professionalism and responsible equipment operation are non-negotiable.

We are seeking 10 experienced Heavy Commercial Vehicle Drivers to operate our 2022 ZOOMLION 12m³ Concrete Mixer Trucks mounted on HOWO / SINOTRUK chassis. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of ready-mix concrete, proper operation and care of the mixer system, vehicle inspections, basic mechanical troubleshooting and compliance with all applicable Kenyan traffic, safety and NTSA requirements. This position is intended for experienced heavy-truck drivers and is not suitable for applicants whose experience is limited to light vehicles or ordinary commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely operate the ZOOMLION 12m³ mixer truck on public roads and construction sites.
• Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete safely and efficiently.
• Correctly operate the mixer drum, discharge chute and associated systems.
• Conduct pre-trip, onroute and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Identify and report mechanical defects, leaks, unusual noises or abnormal operation.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Maintain proper vehicle cleanliness and care.
• Safely manoeuvre around construction workers, machinery and structures.
• Maintain accurate vehicle, journey and defect records.
• Immediately report accidents, incidents, near misses and mechanical faults.
• Follow all site safety procedures and required PPE requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Hold a valid Kenyan driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated (Class CE).
• Have substantial professional heavy-commercial-vehicle driving experience.
• Have demonstrable concrete mixer truck experience or comparable heavy construction-vehicle experience.
• Have practical mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrate good knowledge of heavy-vehicle operation and road safety.
• Be willing to work at construction sites and assigned routes within Kenya.
• Comply fully with Kenyan law, NTSA requirements and company policies.
• Direct experience with ZOOMLION concrete mixer trucks.
• Experience with HOWO / SINOTRUK trucks.
• Experience with 12m³ or larger mixer trucks.
• Ready-mix concrete and batching-plant experience.
• Clean and verifiable professional driving record.
• Previous experience on major construction projects.

All drivers must comply with applicable Kenyan traffic laws, NTSA requirements, commercial-vehicle regulations, occupational safety requirements, manufacturer procedures and company policies. Drivers must not operate vehicles while impaired, fatigued or when a known safety-critical defect exists. Safety, professionalism and responsible vehicle operation are non-negotiable.
