    Human Resource Business Partner

    Overall, the Human Resources Business Partner will be expected to;

    • Provide strategic leadership to OPC in the area of People & Culture, and Organizational Development by maximizing the potential of OPC staff and optimizing organizational performance.
    • Provide strategic advice, leadership and direction in the development and implementation of a results-driven performance management culture, talent management & succession planning strategy, progressive staff welfare policies and strategies, organizational development initiatives, staff welfare initiatives & interventions to ensure a supportive and conducive working environment.
    • The incumbent will achieve this by leading the Human Capital function at OPC and ensuring that shared ownership of all aspects of the people lifecycle (talent attraction, hiring, performance and development, and retention) is managed efficiently and that promoting a positive work culture is prioritized at all levels.

    Business Analyst

    Specific Roles include;

    • Analysing financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and increased business efficiency
    • Evaluating business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
    • Developing and implementing solutions to optimize performance, including process redesign, technology solutions, and new business models
    • Communicating findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
    • Conducting market research to gather information about the competition, industry trends, as well as customer behavior
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and ensure that they align with the organization's goals and objectives
    • Monitoring the impact of solutions and making adjustments as necessary to ensure continued success.

    The person:

    To be successful in this position, applicants must meet the following requirements;

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications in data analysis or project management will be an added advantage.
    • At least 5 - 7 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of business process analysis, data analysis, project management, communication and collaboration, problem-solving, and agile methodologies.
    • Business Process Analysis: Demonstrable ability to;
      • Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
      • Work with stakeholders to define business requirements and specifications.
    • Data Analysis: Demonstrable ability to;
      • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decision-making.
      • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
    • Project Management: Demonstrable ability to;
      • Support project management activities, such as defining project scope, creating project plans, and tracking project progress.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Familiarity with relevant software and technology.
    • Knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is desirable.

    Legal Coordinator

    Role summary

    Overall, the Legal Coordinator will be expected to provide guidance, legal advice, and support to the Senior leadership team and the organization at large. The overarching purpose of this position is to guarantee that the conservancy is legally protected and capable of carrying out its job successfully by creating and maintaining a viable legal framework for the organization.

    Specific Roles include;

    • Advises and guides the conservancy on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, rules, and compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Evaluate and prepare contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure that the conservancy's interests are protected and represented.
    • Coordinate management of legal problems and the negotiation of settlements on the conservancy's behalf.
    • Stay up to date on legal developments and changes in the legislation that may impact the conservancy.
    • Represent the conservancy in legal proceedings such as administrative hearings or litigation in specific situations.
    • Continuously and regularly educate conservancy employees on legal concerns and best practices in order to reduce legal risks and assure compliance with laws and regulations.
    • Provide administrative support to the CEO by serving as the secretary during Board meetings, SLT meetings, maintaining key records that are the CEO’s responsibility by creating a centralized repository and following up with SLT members to ensure that key deliverables and agreed outputs are completed as per agreed timelines.

    The person:

    To be successful in this position, applicants must meet the following requirements;

    • Bachelor's degree in Law, paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field.
    • A minimum of 5 years post – graduate experience practicing law at least 2 of which must be in a similar (legal coordinator) role
    • Must be a registered member of Law society of Kenya
    • Demonstrable ability to collaborate with other departments, such as finance and operations, to support legal department initiatives and projects.
    • Direct experience in assisting with the preparation, review, and management of contracts, including drafting and reviewing contract language, tracking contract status, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
    • Experience working with management to manage compliance-related tasks, such as reviewing policies and procedures, monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, and responding to legal inquiries and requests.
    • Ability to Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including attorneys, clients, vendors, and regulators.
    • Demonstrable experience collaborating with other departments to support departmental initiatives and projects.
    • Proficiency with legal research tools and databases, as well as other relevant software and technology.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Supply Chain Manager

    Overall, the Manager, Supply Chain will be expected to play a critical role in ensuring that the company's supply chain is efficient, cost-effective, and meets the needs of the business and its customers. H/She will be responsible for optimizing OPC’s supply chain which will involve managing the flow of goods and services, including procurement, transportation, stores and inventory management, and distribution of good across departments and functions.

    Specific Roles include;

    Procurement:

    • Ensuring that the organization has the necessary resources and materials to meet its goals and objectives by managing the procurement process from sourcing to delivery.

    Inventory Management:

    • Overseeing the management of inventory levels and ensuring that adequate stocks are available to meet demand.

    Logistics and Distribution:

    • Coordinating the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to internal customers, including the management of transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

    Vendor Management:

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that suppliers are meeting performance expectations.

    Risk Management:

    • Identifying and managing potential risks in the supply chain, such as disruptions to supply, fluctuations in demand, and changes in regulations.

    Cost Management:

    • Continuously monitoring and analyzing supply chain costs and implementing strategies to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service levels.

    Sustainability:

    • Ensuring that the supply chain is sustainable and environmentally responsible, including reducing the carbon footprint and promoting the use of renewable resources.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Working closely with internal stakeholders, including logistics, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment and optimize the supply chain.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Driving continuous improvement in supply chain processes, including the adoption of new technologies, and the development of innovative solutions

    The person:

    To be successful in this position, applicants must meet the following requirements;

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Must be a registered member of KISM with CIPS qualifications
    • Knowledge and experience with procurement, inventory management, and transportation operations.
    • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with external stakeholders, such as vendors, suppliers, and logistics providers.
    • Ability to thrive in a high paced, fast turnaround business.
    • Demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen as well as achieve exceptional results from supply chain management.
    • Be positive, motivated, ambitious, proactive, with a “can-do” attitude.
    • Have experience of using ERP system and MRP systems or other related systems
    • Results oriented with excellent problem-solving skills - Identify and analyze complex supply chain problems and develop solutions to address them.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
