To deliver high-quality teaching and learning for Grade 3 learners under the Kenyan Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), while also being able to teach learners up to Grade 6. The teacher will foster holistic development by integrating academic, social, emotional, and moral values in line with the school’s philosophy.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery

• Prepare and deliver lessons for Grade 3 (and up to Grade 6 where required) in accordance with the CBC curriculum.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, learning materials, and continuous assessment tools.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Integrate ICT, creative activities, and practical learning in daily teaching.

Learner Assessment & Progress Tracking

• Carry out formative and summative assessments per CBC guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date learner records and progress reports.
• Provide regular feedback to learners and parents on academic and behavioral progress.

Classroom & Learner Management

• Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Instill discipline, responsibility, and values in learners.
• Promote teamwork, respect, and inclusivity within the classroom.

Co-curricular Activities

• Participate in and support school co-curricular programs (sports, clubs, arts, etc.).
• Encourage learners’ talents and interests beyond academics.

Collaboration & School Development

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, school administration, and parents to enhance the learning experience.
• Attend staff meetings, training, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Support the school in implementing educational initiatives and improvement plans.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Primary Option) or Diploma in Education (P1) from a recognized institution.
• TSC registration is mandatory.
• Proven teaching experience at lower and middle primary level (Grade 1–6) under the CBC curriculum.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized school (preferred).
• Proficiency in ICT integration in teaching and learning.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Operations

• Deliver packages to customers as per assigned delivery schedule and routes.
• Ensure packages are handled with care and in line with company handling procedures.
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
• Confirm the accuracy of Delivery Notes and Invoices prior to dispatch.
• Collect orders and documents from suppliers or customers when required. 

Vehicle and Route Management

• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues for maintenance.
• Ensure that vehicle licenses and insurances are up to date.
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the assigned vehicle.
• Record and maintain daily delivery logs and mileage records.
• Follow designated delivery routes and adapt in case of urgent assignments off-route. 

Customer Service and Communication

• Respond to basic customer inquiries or issues during delivery in a courteous and professional manner.
• Communicate any delivery issues to the Inventory In-Charge promptly.
• Provide feedback on customer concerns or observations during delivery visits. 

Support Functions

• Occasionally support the warehouse team in packaging and merchandizing when not on delivery.
• Collaborate with the Inventory and Stores teams to improve dispatch efficiency

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Valid Kenyan driver’s license (Category BCE).
• KCSE Certificate minimum.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in delivery or logistics. Experience as a delivery driver for an agricultural and veterinary supplies provider is an added advantage.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and Nairobi/branch locations preferred.
