    Finance Intern

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance Department. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to the success of our team while developing your skills and knowledge in a dynamic business environment

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with daily accounting tasks, such as invoice processing, data entry, and account reconciliation. 
    • Support in ensuring efficient, timely and accurate recording and payment processing in Sage 300®.  
    • Support the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. 
    • Participate in audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation, conducting research, and assisting with audit preparations. 
    • Assist in preparation of tax schedules. 
    • Assist in supporting the annual audit by retrieving the sampled documents and preparing schedules. 
    • Assist in ensuring proper documentation and accounting for travel allowances & reimbursement vouchers and all other supporting documents.  
    • Assist in the thorough review and verification of purchase transactions, ensuring appropriate purchase order matching, credit terms and adherence to appropriate authorization and budget confirmation and clearance.  
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information, adhering to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards. 
    • Support finance team members in ad-hoc projects, special assignments, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, and charts). 
    • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification at least intermediate level.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

    Application Support Engineer

    As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support for the platform by performing forensic analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within agreed SLAs. You will ensure platform stability while delivering a positive and professional support experience to both internal and external stakeholders.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

    • Triage, investigate, and resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs.
    • Use appropriate technical tools such as BI tools, DWH, RDBMS, and APIs to diagnose issues.
    • Ensure tickets are followed up to closure with timely stakeholder communication.

    Incident Management

    • Execute incident management protocol during active incidents.
    • Document root cause analysis following incidents.

    Automation of Business Processes

    • Work closely with development teams to automate business processes to improve efficiency.
    • Execute temporary off-platform automated business processes.

    Documentation & Knowledge Base

    • Maintain clear and up-to-date support tickets documentations.
    • Update the knowledge base with new troubleshooting guides and solutions.
    • Contribute to standard operating procedures for common issues.

    Reporting & Analysis

    • Produce reports on ticket volumes, SLA compliance, resolution times, and recurring issues.
    • Identify trends and recommend preventative measures.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Provide clear updates on ticket progress to internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Translate technical issues into business impact for non-technical audiences.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
    • 2-3 years experience in application support, software engineering, or a related technical role.
    • Hands-on experience with databases, monitoring tools, and ticketing systems.
    • Familiarity with ticket and knowledgebase management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
    • Demonstrated ability to document and communicate technical findings.

    Junior Claims Assessor - 3 Months Temporary Contract

    The Junior Claims Assessor will have the responsibility of ensuring that medical claims and cases are vetted and that they meet the set objectives for a given project. The position will also involve giving detailed reporting on all the general findings from the claims or cases vetted with the aim of improving project outcomes as well as enhancing system functionality.

    KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Verify and analyze all data on claims or cases and ensure these meet the project objectives as well as payer expectations for the various projects.
    • To send back simple yet detailed feedback to the provider team where claims do not meet the project expectations.
    • To ensure any general trends or inconsistencies noted are reported to the operations and provider teams.
    • Timely assessment of claims re-submitted by the providers, ensuring the queries raised are understood, and following up with the provider team to ensure they are resolved.
    • Provide support to the customer call center to address medical queries that have been escalated to CarePay.
    • Document and be able to extract, present, or discuss provider practices or disease trends.
    • Deliver feedback and training aimed at addressing the trends picked from the claims assessment exercise.
    • Mapping generic rules to medical services, procedures, drugs and lab tests.
    • Participate in testing and documentation of selected CarePay systems.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

    • Degree/ Diploma in Clinical Medicine or Nursing
    • Good understanding of private and public healthcare delivery.
    • Have a strong understanding of medical treatment protocols and cost-effective prescribing habits in relation to market segmentation.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in a busy hospital set-up
    •  Experience in insurance will be an added advantage.
