    Telesales Executive

    Main purpose of the job

    The Telesales Executive will be responsible for generating, closing leads, and supporting field staff in the sales process. CarePay’s key clients & stakeholders are split into 4 main groups:

    1. Participants: these are our clients who have been saving for healthcare on our platform.
    2. Healthcare providers: we need to have as many solid and reputable healthcare providers on our platform as possible and engage with them on an ongoing basis.
    3. Institutional payers of healthcare: these are (inter)national health(re)insurance companies, health insurance brokers, and medium to large sized corporates.
    4. Non-profit or public payers of healthcare: these are mainly the Ministry of Health, the county governments, the National Hospital Insurance Fund, public donor organizations (e.g., USAID, DFID, Global Fund, etc), and private donor organizations (e.g. the PharmAccess foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Pfizer Foundation).

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
    • Answer questions about products or the company
    • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
    • Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
    • Enter and update customer information in the database
    • Take and process orders in an accurate manner
    • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
    • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
    • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information

    Sales KPIs

    • Number of policies sold
    • Number of leads converted to sales
    • Field and agent efficiency
    • Revenue generated

    Telesales Executive Requirements:

    • Proven experience asTelesales representative or other sales/customer service role
    • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferablyover the phone
    • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) andtelephone systems
    • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain themto prospects
    • Excellent knowledge of English
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Levelheaded and able to handle rejection
    • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues andaddress complaints
    • Undergraduate degree will be a plus

    Senior Frontend Developer

    Main purpose of the job

    As senior frontend engineer you are part of a multidisciplinary team working on core features of the platform, which includes backend engineers, cloud engineers, business analysts, designers, and business owners. As a team, you own your backlog and take pride in achieving results. Next to your technical contribution, you’re working on the product vision itself and share our vision of leveraging technology to improve healthcare around the world.

    Your main task to is to deliver quality solutions for our end users and at the same time keep the platform fit for the future. This means next to working on green fields projects, you also refactor existing modules to match our high level of engineering. You guide and coach fellow team members, help them grow, maximizing your impact.  

    In the frontend chapter we work on multiple Angular portals structured in a monorepo. We are using Cypress for end-to-end testing and Storybook to develop our inhouse component library together with the User Experience Chapter. To communicate to our backend microservices we are using both REST APIs and GraphQL. Our deployment pipeline is built with Bitbucket Pipelines, and fully automated so our developers can quickly deploy small improvements.

    Required qualifications

    • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
    • At least 5 years software development experience
    • We love TypeScript, and expect you to have strong TypeScript skills
    • You have collected significant hands-on experience with Angular, or are willing to learn this framework
    • Interest in global development and healthcare
    • English speaking

    Preferred qualifications

    • Experience setting up CI/CD tools and pipelines
    • Experience with mobile technology and development
    • Experience with developing solutions as part of a team
    • Experience with Cypress or other automated testing tools
    • Proficient with Agile and Scrum frameworks

    Customer Success Account Lead

    Main purpose of the job

    A Customer Success Account Lead is end to end responsible for the growth and retention of either one of CarePay’s key accounts or several smaller accounts. Key objective is to make these clients more successful by enabling them to use the full breadth of CarePay’s products and services offering. In other words: by ensuring full adoption of CarePay’s propositions the Customer Success Account Lead enables the customer to unlock maximum value. Through this, a Customer Success Account Lead is able to maximize revenue generation for CarePay (in a responsible way), whilst ensuring retention of the client.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manage key clients, their growth and retention.
    • Apply best practices of customer success achievements at client(s) under management.
    • Develop and apply standardized client processes and journeys.
    • Identify opportunities for product development based on client’s direct and latent needs.
    • Ensure high quality relationship & change management with key stakeholders and clients including understanding their needs.
    • Ensure successful launch of product offerings, enhancement, and opportunities for scaling with client.
    • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction and service delivery for the client(s).

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Economics, Business or Healthcare Management with Project Management angle
    • At least 3-7 years of relevant working experience in client-facing roles involving management of projects, relationship building, problem solving and application of analytical skills.
    • Experience in working in fast changing environments (start-up, scale-up, digital & tech companies, consulting environments)
    • Experience in and knowledge of health care insurance industry is an advantage.
    • Understanding of private and public outpatient and in-patient healthcare delivery
    • Strong commercial acumen
    • Strong communicator at all levels of an organization up to Executive and possesses keen listening skills.
    • Ability to incorporate business context and describe technical functionalities to those less versed in technology.
    • Ability to partake and manage resources across a matrixed organization.
    • Able to effectively manage multiple works streams.

    Analytics Engineer

    Main purpose of the job

    You will be working with a team of 8 data engineers, analysts, and scientists to help the organization become more data driven. We are aiming to measure impact of 90% of all features developed by end of year and you will be key to enable the teams doing this.

    A typical day in the life of an Analytics Engineer at CarePay 

    You start the day by catching up on the latest analytics engineering news and tools. Then you will peer review code of your team members and point out SQL improvements. At 11AM you participate in our standup and give an update on your tasks and their dependencies.  Before lunch you take some time to pair-program with a teammate on a new technology you always wanted to wrap your head around. 

    In the afternoon, you will conduct a workshop with our payments team to gather data requirements for their largest pain points and inspire them with your own ideas. Based on the outcomes you will spend the rest of the day building the new loans data model in SQL. You will end the day by scripting a new dbt macro together with one of our data engineers.

    Your Responsibilities

    • Establish, build and maintain data models to speed up analytics solution building
    • Work with platform teams to better understand, model and visualize platform capabilities
    • Write production-quality ELT code with an eye towards performance and maintainability
    • Explore new data sources and making them usable for the organization
    • Support business users to get the insights they are looking for from the data
