Job summary:

The Supervisor - tyre department will oversee a team and ensure effective operations within the department. This is a hands on role and requires a strong knowledge of tyres.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Listens effectively to understand and communicate in a business-like manner to employees all pertinent subject matter.
• Accurately answers questions both over the phone and at the workshop location.
• Presents a warm, friendly, knowledgeable and professional image to employees.
• Directs the department in the diagnosing of the needs through the appropriate products and services. .
• Verifies that the appropriate services have been completed.
• Learns and maintains current product knowledge on all tires, service and other product lines that are represented.
• Prepares accurate estimates of materials required.
• Knows, understands, and performs the Maintenance Technician and tyre fitting duties.

KEY CAPABILITIES AND EDUCATION:

• A diploma/Degree in a related field.
• Experience in tyre fitting and a sound knowledge of tyres from small vehicles to heavy trucks
• Minimum of 5 years of experience dealing with tyre’s and supervision of staff
• Wheel alignment experience
• Well-developed communication skills and ability to build rapport with team members
• A can do attitude and a passion for safety
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Experience working in oil& gas Industry is preferred.

Job Role Description

As a panel beater you will be responsible for assessing damaged vehicles, estimating the cost of repairs and repairing vehicles to their original condition. You will also be required to maintain high safety standards in the workplace.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Assessing the extent of vehicle repairs, restoration, or customization requests.
• Preparing repair or modification cost estimates and finalizing agreements.
• Planning, organizing, and scheduling the workflow.
• Regularly updating customers on the progress of their repairs.
• Restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition by removing dents, mending parts, removing rust, repairing scratches, and spray painting panels.
• Accommodating customization requests.
• Ensuring compliance to industry specifications and safety standards.
• Operating recovery vehicles.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Minimum of an O level, vocational training or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Panel Beater would be advantageous.
• Spray painting, general welding, and brazing experience.
• Ability to operate mechanical, hydraulic, and metalworking equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of automotive industry safety specifications and regulations.
• Physically fit and able to operate heavy machinery.

Job summary:

The workshop supervisor will provide oversight and technical supervision to the workmen in the workshop. The Job holder shall also be responsible for on-site repair (break-down) coordination in a timely manner in line with the company policies.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Coordinate the operations of the workshop to ensure delivery of timely and quality service for the trailers.
• Prepare and present Daily weekly and monthly workshop technical reports
• Monitor the performance of the workshop in order to address performance gaps identified in a timely manner
• Coordinate compliance with the company standards and guidelines to avoid unwarranted injuries, and for compliance with the relevant policies and procedures;
• Prepare action plan for pending vehicles in the workshop
• Technical assistance for complex diagnosis to the workshop team.
• Reduce repeat concern by direct guidance and close supervision technicians to do the job assign to them.
• Improve Team performance through effective reporting and communication.
• Checking quotations for parts and adding labour times according to manufacturer flat rates
• Update the management on requirements for workshop tools and special tools.
• Ensure EHS adherence in workshop
• Final Inspection of repairs
• Maintain all workshop equipment, and monitor use by technicians to ensure the equipment are in good working condition at all times for minimal disruption to workshop operations;

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or equivalent
• 6 years’ hands on experience in the workshop with 3 years at a Supervisory level in an organisation dealing with heavy commercial vehicles and trailers
• Computer literacy
• Desired Profile Knowledge of running a workshop.
• Product and technical knowledge
• Experience working in an oil & gas industry is preferred.

Job summary:

The pump attendant will be responsible for pumping the requested amount of fuel, cleaning windows, checking fluid levels, checking tire pressure, and processing payments.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Run fuel pumps and fill fuel tanks of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel to particular levels
• Wash windshields and check fluid levels and air pressure
• Prepare day by day reports of fuel, oil, and other items
• Order stock, and price and shelve incoming goods
• Responsible for station upkeep, including emptying trash bins and sweeping floors.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of an O level certificate.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Swahili.
