Strategic

• Develop a standard cost structure to be used for quarterly forecast, annual plan and actual reporting
• Identify areas of improvement in gross Margin to contribute to Reckitt's overall profitability
• Ensure the Control environment at the Warehouse and EMOs is robust and there are no lapses for smooth functioning of the Supply function
• Effective inventory management, pointing out areas of improvement and implementing a thorough plan of action
• Financial reporting for all EA supply operations by closely coordinating with the Supply Function

Operational

• Maintain an optimum level of stocks and highlight slow-moving/non-moving stocks. Making timely accruals of SLOBS. Inventory validation and reconciliation
• Ensure strict cost control-develop/revise standard costs for new/existing products; track cost variances including PPV
• Analyse performance, lead the supply business planning process and improve profitability
• Inform strategic decisions, challenge assumptions and dig deeper
• Ensure systems, processes and controls are robust and drive both current activities and future growth
• Manage our financial health, guide our strategic direction and ensure long term sustainable growth.

Skills & Qualifications

• Undergraduate/ Postgraduate Degree in Finance/ Accounting
• CPA (K) or ACCA
• 2-3 years experience in Supply Finance in a busy Warehouse
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Accounting
• Must have advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, Data tables )
• Excellent communication skills

Key Accountabilities/Resposibilities

• Control full end to end import process on all SKUs in eas Africa
• Overview of communications with the Bank, Forwarding Agents and Regulatory for Seamless import and export documentation
• Ensure all Tariff and duties are correctly classified and paid accordingly
• Ensure end to end process is maintained on Imported SKUs specifically supply planning and clearing
• Ensure end to end process is maintained on locally produced SKUs specifically stock availability at the warehouse
• To Manage portfolio at target customer service levels by holding optimum stock levels considering the Best-in-Class S&OP process
• Provide Freight in Solutions, evaluation of costs to drive budget adherence and cost reduction and drive operational efficiency in the FI and Export freights
• Vehicle utilization fr outbound deliveries contained utilization for Imports
• SLA setup with all service providers and KPIs managed within terms of the agreement
• Pack Fill rate, OTD and logistics-related Credit Notes
• manage product life cycle and ensure no write-offs
• Maintain KEBS, PPB, PCPB & Other regulatory key Documentations for East Africa
• Collaborate with external stakeholders- Factories'Freight forwarder/Agents, Regulatory bodies, shipping lines etc as the need arise to ensure smooth export processing

Skills And Professional Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or any other business-related field
• 5+ years of experience working in logistics, Warehousing and freight Management preferably in FMCG, Logistics Multinational Companies
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist with Pharmacy & Poisons Board
• Advanced in Excel and Powerpoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills with strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ease
