• Teach and facilitate learning at diploma, certificate and artisan levels through lecturers, seminars, projects, tutorials and other learning situations as assigned by the HOD from time to time.
• Participate in the development, administration, and marking of exams, assignments, projects and continuous assessment tests.
• Assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
• Provide advice, guidance and feedback to students to support their academic progress and refer students to support services as appropriate.

Job Description

To be the first point of contact for the college and coordinate other departments in the organization, ensuring excellent reception that leaves a positive, lasting impression about the organization for both internal and external customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Receive visitors, respond to them, and address their inquiries.
• Receive incoming calls, make outbound calls to clients and prospects, and respond to texts and WhatsApp messages
• Maintain and operate an efficient communication and coordination system.
• Coordinate the planning of staff meetings and other internal meeting venues.
• Take minutes for all meetings as directed.
• Ensure effective and efficient use of office equipment by departments.
• Secure the booking of external meeting facilities as and when required.
• Ensure the smooth flow of documents and safe keeping of the same.
• Ensure all office repairs and breakages are reported to the admin on time for action.
• Ensure the office is clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure timely coordination of activities within the administration department.
• Responsible for opening and locking the main office block and other rooms before and after work hours, respectively.
• Maintain office security by following the laid-down procedures for staff, visitors, and guests.
• Support in handling HR duties when called upon.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A diploma in business management or business administration; and training in front office management, HR or customer service.
• Minimum of three years of experience as Office Admin or Office Assistant Admin in a busy work environment.
• Excellent experience in the use of office equipment, i.e., computers, printers, scanners, among others.
• Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizing and planning skills with attention to detail.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills.
