    Sales Manager –Hardware & Packaging Division

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum Academic Qualification of a University Degree in Sales & Marketing or a Diploma in the same field will be an added advantage.
    • At least Five years of successful sales experience particularly in manufacturing industry and/or construction industry; two of which in senior sales position.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as excel, PowerPoint and Word Skills & Competencies
    • Team player and good interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills and networking skills
    • Capacity to perform in a highly pressurized environment
    • Demonstrated record of managing successful sales force
    • Well-groomed and articulate
    • Strong presentation skills

    • Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies and executing plans
    • Develop long lasting strategic relationships with the target customers

    • Collectively, with your team, ensure that the monthly/quarterly/annual targets are achieved
    • Ensure full utilization of sales & marketing tool to grow sales

    • Fully implement the Fundi Initiative
    • Proactively work with the team to ensure debt collection is within credit periods.
    • Conduct staff performance appraisal as prescribed by HR.

    Head of Operations

    The Head Of Operations Will

    • Report Directly to the Head of Academy.
    • Have a dotted line report to the designated person at the Head Office.
    • Be a member of the School Senior Leadership Team of the Academy.
    • Work closely with the other Schools and offices, and relevant Boards and Committees.
    • Lead and supervise the Administrative and Support functions to ensure good working relationships and the development of leadership capacity within these departments.
    • Oversee the effective Professional Development of staff to ensure their professional growth.

    Key Duties And Responsibilities

    • The role has a significant strategic element to it and the appointee will be expected to play a leading part in planning and implementation of all existing and future infrastructure plans/projects of the school.
    • The post holder will work closely with the Head of Administration, other support service managers and the Senior Leadership Team on all the operations and administrative matters, pertaining to the effective running and management of the Academy, including keeping them abreast of any relevant changes to statutory regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Map out, analyze and manage the improvement and streamlining of key Operations processes.
    • Lead as the operations expert in automation of required processes.
    • Lead in planning and implementing infrastructure plans/projects (current & future) aimed at achieving cost efficiencies.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and guidelines to inform operational activities in the School.
    • Develop and implement key matrices and benchmarks to measure operating performance, efficiencies, and reporting of key performances measures of all support functions.
    • Regularly review and track risks which may affect the financial viability and smooth operation of the Academy.
    • Support the Academy in its work to generate revenue, increase enrolments and enhance its market position.

    Qualifications And Experience

    • Proven experience as Head of Operations with 10 years' experience preferably managing a 5 star hotel or a residential community.
    • A degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or relevant field.
    • Experience in an educational setting, preferably with a residential programme.
    • Highly literate and numerate, excellent in the use of IT for analysis of data.
    • Experience in financial management relating to operations.
    • Experience in the development of operational systems.
