About the Role

• We are actively seeking talented developers proficient in Javascript/Typescript to join our ambitious team dedicated to pushing the frontiers of AI technology. Required Skills:

• Write readable, reusable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that the standards for code quality are met
• Demonstrate your proficiency with your language of choice, while covering all bases
• Provide clear, clean, well-organized, correct, and clearly annotated/classifiable code in the responses
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a front-end engineer or a back-end Engineer or a Full Stack Engineer
• Demonstrable experience with developing web apps using modular development and scalable architectures as well as a strong focus on code readability and security/stability (i.e. testing)
• Proficiency with the language's syntax and conventions
• Extensive experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Solid understanding of JavaScript ES6 and either Node.js or React
• Nice to have some prior software Quality Assurance and Test Planning experience
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

The company is developing the next generation of coding assisting agents, which will have a wide range of uses. For those who are keen to learn in a fast-paced setting, this is an exciting opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:

• Write effective Rust code to tackle complex issues
• Use business sense and analytical abilities to glean valuable insights from public databases
• Clearly express the reasoning and logic when writing code in online notebooks or other suitable mediums
• Ensure comprehensive code documentation
• Coding Best Practices
• Problem Solving
• Familiarity with Prompt Engineering (Knows how to use ChatGPT or other GEN AI tools to accelerate themselves while knowing its limitations/pitfalls)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience with Rust
• Industry experience and knowledge of code quality, formatting, and best practices of software development
• Excellent communication abilities to work with stakeholders and researchers successfully
• Fluent in conversational and written English communication skills

Mandatory

• Candidates should now have at least 6 years of overall experience in software development.
• A minimum of 3+ years of Rust programming experience is now required, we can also consider 2.5 years of recent, hands-on Rust work.
• Additional Qualifications: Candidates should have Backend experience and Rust should be up to date, showcasing skills in recent projects.
• Opportunity: Full Time Contract, 8 hours
