    Software Tester Engineer Level 1

    This role holder ensures that application solutions quality is assured before launch to the market. The incumbent shall work closely with the assigned Microsoft contact person in running test scenarios and corrective measures ensuring apps deployed have passed optimum performance scores.  He or she must be a software guru undertaking various testing techniques to the process of executing a program or application with the intent of finding software bugs (errors or other defects). To succeed in this role, the incumbent must be a quick thinker to translate of partner requirements, an achiever, a tech whizz, and an aggressive driver of deadlines for positive relationships across the board immediately. 

    PERSON SPECIFICATION 

    Academic Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related fields 

    Experience 

    • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a software testing environment. 
    • Understanding of SDLC 
    • In-depth knowledge of Windows Operating Systems 
    • Proficiency in MS Office and SQL Queries. 
    • Basic Azure knowledge and certifications are a plus. 
    • Understanding of C# and PowerShell is a plus. 
    • Any combination of certifications in Testing Tools, ISTQB is preferred  Personal Attributes 
    • Technologically savvy: should have a vested interest in using the latest technologies and is constantly seeking to expand their knowledge base.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

    Test Management 

    • Responsible for setting up the test environment, create/ design Test scenarios and Test cases 
    • Analyze, review and assess software requirements, specifications and models for testability 
    • Measure performance of components and provide data for software metrics 
    • Track overall app productivity i.e. bugs arising and resolution quality 

    Test Script Creation and Refactoring 

    • Automate tests (supported by test lead) 
    • Contribute to the creation of test plans 
    • Contribute in creation of test reports 
    • No of bugs triaged as per defined process 
    • Accountable for App testing configurations software modules (Unit and integration testing) against final requirements as per Microsoft/partner requirements 

    Test Execution 

    • Prepare and acquire test data 
    • Execute and log tests, evaluate results and document deviations from expected results 
    • Conduct Peer Reviews on Test Cases and Defects 
    • Perform Sanity, System Testing and Regression Testing 
    • Coordinating with Development Team Regarding Project Status and Builds 

    Test Reporting 

    • Run reports on identified defects and track them to closure 
    • Periodic (Daily) reporting of the Daily status of all assigned tasks to the supervisor 
    • Planned attendance for optimum service support as scheduled 

    Knowledge Transfer: 

    • Conducting and participating in Trainings, Team Meetings, and other Knowledge Transfer Projects 
    • Actively generate innovative ideas Eg: Number of fresh approaches/ideas introduced"

    Director of Sales- Enterprise Business

    Position Overview
    The position is responsible for leading all sales Functions for Enterprise Business. A Sales Director must maintain a strong sales record, driving success of products in multiple regions and industries. Analytical skills, people skills, organizational and communication skills are essential, as the role will be responsible for working in a fast-paced sales environment to ensure the successful closure of opportunities.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    Academic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent  is a plus.

    Experience:

    • Proven experience of at least 12 years in Enterprise Software Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently
    • Demonstrated success in building, leading, and motivating high-performing sales teams
    • Experience in selling to Enterprises & public sector in Africa and globally
    • Experience in Request for Proposal (RFP) and bidding process, including how to respond to RFPs and navigate the bidding process
    • Familiarity with the specific procurement regulations and procedures applicable to public sector
    • Knowledge of Sales administration, Competitor analysis, and Sales reporting
    • Extensive network of contacts and clients within the enterprise and public sector market
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities

    Responsibilities:

    Revenue Generation

    • Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth
    • Develop relationships with partners and managing all clients
    • Develop leads, actively target and follow up clients, identify and prioritize profitable business opportunities in liaison and with the support of the Corporate
    • Define and align the go to market strategy for each solution and appropriately execute a sales plan with the on-ground sales team
    • Promote Techno Brain as a company in the market to ensure brand recognition and awareness 
    • Demonstrate a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability objectives
    • Take ownership of driving collections and ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in collaboration with finance and operations teams

    Sales Strategy and Planning

    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate the African enterprise and public sector market effectively. Identify key target accounts and segments, set sales targets, and establish performance metrics for the sales team

    Enterprise and Public sector Sales

    • Lead the sales efforts to secure business from enterprise and public sector customers in Africa. Utilize your expertise in enterprise and public sector sales to identify customer needs, propose tailored solutions, and close deals successfully

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with geographically distant presales and product teams to develop customer-centric solutions, ensuring seamless integration between sales and operational functions
    • Leverage your vast network of contacts within the African market to generate new leads, develop strong customer relationships, and create opportunities for business growth
