We are looking for a competent Transport & Logistics Coordinator to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our business unit. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods. A great asset for a Logistics Coordinator is their communication and negotiation skills. They are also well-versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Coordinate logistics staff (e.g. truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of goods and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure transport & logistics activities assigned are well-planned and coordinated
• Plan and track the shipment of goods according to schedules and requirements
• Keep logs and records of moved/ received stock, executed orders, etc.
• Prepare accurate reports for upper management

Requirements

• Proven experience as logistics coordinator
• Experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements relevant to the operations
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field

We are looking for a reliable Transport & Logistics Supervisor to be responsible for the supervision of our transport and logistics activities in the assigned project. Transport & Logistics Supervisor responsibilities include organizing and monitoring the movement and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire transport & logistics activities so as to ensure timely deliveries of goods.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and internal customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate transport & logistics activities
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency of services offered by the Transport & Logistics team
• Arrange warehouse, plan routes, and track shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints in the scope of work
• Supervise, coach, and train transport and logistics workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations, and relevant ISO requirements2003

Requirements

• BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Supervisor or Team Leader
