Transport & Logistics Supervisor at GCC Services

We are looking for a reliable Transport & Logistics Supervisor to be responsible for the supervision of our transport and logistics activities in the assigned project. Transport & Logistics Supervisor responsibilities include organizing and monitoring the movement and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire transport & logistics activities so as to ensure timely deliveries of goods.

Responsibilities

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and internal customer services
• Direct, optimize and coordinate transport & logistics activities
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency of services offered by the Transport & Logistics team
• Arrange warehouse, plan routes, and track shipments
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints in the scope of work
• Supervise, coach, and train transport and logistics workforce
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations, and relevant ISO requirements2003

Requirements

• BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Record of successful distribution and logistics management
• Proven working experience as a Logistics Supervisor or Team Leader
