    Sales Executive-BYD

    JOB PURPOSE 

    • This role is responsible for the achievement of the set sales targets to ensure the profitability of the BYD brand.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB 

    Managerial/Supervisory

    • N/A

    Operational Responsibilities 

    • Conduct regular field visits to prospect for clients in order to generate sales and gather market information to assist in planning and decision making;
    • Actively follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from showroom, field activities and promotions to build prospects and close sales;
    • Prepare quotations in a timely manner in line with CFAO Mobility guidelines to assist close sales in a timely manner;
    • Create sales orders in the system to facilitate timely invoicing
    • Prepare sales calls programs for appointment bookings with prospective clients to facilitate sales plans;
    • Maintain regular contact with clients to promote retention and generate referrals and new business opportunities;
    • Consistently update customers on sales order progress, respond and resolve customer queries in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and retention;
    • Advise clients on finance packages available through partner financial institutions and assist the clients in filling the required documentation to ensure the sales deals are closed;
    • Liaise with Finance to ensure payment terms are clearly agreed and communicated to the customer, and proper finance documentation, to minimise customer complaints and enhance the closing of sales deals;
    • Follow up on vehicle registration documents including logbooks to ensure the documentation is availed to the customer in a timely manner for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention;
    • Actively participate in promotional and customer training activities to market the company’s products and services to increase product awareness for enhanced sales;
    • Provide information to management and the marketing team on market intelligence to assist garner information required to develop aggressive marketing and sales strategies for the BYD brands;
    • Submit accurate weekly deliveries and order intake data to the Sales Manager to keep track of the monthly sales targets as per budget;
    • Support in the unit ordering process to ensure optimal stock holding at all times;

    KNOWLEDGE,  SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum level of academic and professional  qualification required to perform effectively in the role
    • Degree in sales and marketing or other relevant field
    • Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
    • 3-5 years’ working experience in sales in the automotive industry
    • Experience in and knowledge of Electric Vehicles will be an added advantage
    • Experience in leasing will be an added advantage

    Sales Supervisor - Sinotruk

    JOB PURPOSE 

    • This role is responsible for supervising and driving the performance of the Sinotruk sales team to achieve agreed sales volumes, revenue, and market share targets in Kenya. The role focuses on execution of sales strategies, people management, customer relationship management, and market development within Nairobi and assigned territories, in line with company policies and local market dynamics

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB 
    Managerial/Supervisory

    • Formulate and implement sales strategies to drive the realization of the department sales targets
    • Prepare and submit sales budgets and the monthly rundown report as per CFAO Mobility guidelines to assist enhance and monitor performance
    • Prepare and submit expense budgets to ensure the allocation of sufficient resources critical for the implementation of the department sales plans
    • Monitor the utilization of resources to avoid wastage (Resource Management)
    • Supervise, coach, and motivate Sales Executives to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.  Coordinate performance management for the department to ensure high performance and retention of staff
    • Conduct regular field visits, and performance reviews
    • Identify training needs and support continuous development of the sales team
    • Coordinate credit management in the department to ensure minimal bad debts
    • Drive sales of Sinotruk commercial vehicles in line with monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
    • Initiate and nurture relationships with customers and other key stakeholders to ensure CFAO Mobility receives the support required in the achievement of set targets
    • Coordinate the operations of the department for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of service
    • Monitor the utilization of demo units assigned to the department to ensure full compliance with the CFAO Mobility guidelines

    Operational Responsibilities

    • Conduct business prospecting to ensure the achievement of the monthly order intake and sales targets for the department
    • Carry out weekly follow through of the sales process for vehicle sales orders and liaise with various departments to ensure lead times are adhered to
    • Approve customer vehicle orders to ensure timely processing of the sale
    • Give approvals and confirm price levels and discounts to customers to ensure prices are competitive and protect CFAO Mobility against possible loss
    • Sign off Delivery Note/Gate Passes to ensure payment terms are complied with and invoices are properly prepared before sign off
    • Check and approve proposals for promotions and promotional items to ensure value for money, cost and quality
    • Follow up on debtors and report to the management to ensure appropriate strategies are employed to recover monies owed to CFAO Mobility

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or relevant field from a recognized institution.
    • Diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized institution
    • Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role
    • 8 years or relevant working experience in the automotive industry, with 2 years of experience in a sales management position in a company of comparable size.

    Brand Executive - Multibrand

    JOB PURPOSE 

    • Develop marketing strategy, initiate implementation of action plan, monitor effectiveness of actions and drive the achievement of target of brand in charge, by creating synergy among brand stakeholders and initiating national marketing activities together with Marketing Manager to realize better/ideal brand position in the market
    • Digital Specialist with strong focus in digital strategy, content creation, and online engagement. Optimizing our digital presence, managing campaigns, analysing performance metrics, and supporting other marketing and communication activities as needed.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB 
    Operational Responsibilities

    • Initiating the development and implementation of marketing strategies for Multibrand brands together with respective teams in line with the overall strategic objectives of the company to facilitate achievement of sales targets for the brands
    • Manage development and usage of the marketing budget for brands in charge to ensure the allocation of sufficient funds for successful implementation of the marketing strategy
    • Monitor and control the utilization of the marketing budget in order to support efficiency in the management of costs at CMK
    • In collaboration with Corporate Marketing, initiate the update and marketing of CMK website and digital medias to enhance visibility and traffic in support of e- commerce and brand awareness
    • Initiate implementation of brand surveys as well as market intelligence and feedback to ensure timely availability of information critical for the development of respective brand strategies
    • Review and submit reports on the implementation of the marketing strategies and work plans to ensure performance of the department is monitored in a timely manner
    • Guide the respective team in the development of marketing and promotional materials to ensure the materials meet high quality standards and are delivered within acceptable timelines
    • Oversee preparation for and initiate rolling out of new product launches to meet set targets

    • Develop and implement a framework for reporting on the return on investment for the various marketing initiatives undertaken by CMK to ensure timely adjustments on marketing strategy are done for maximum impact
    • Coordinate internal communication of marketing objectives to ensure all relevant internal stakeholders are well informed for the department to be fully internally supported
    • Source for suppliers and agencies to handle the planned marketing activities for the brand as per the marketing calendar to ensure timely delivery by the suppliers
    • Organise the production of branded items to assist in the timely delivery of the materials as required
    • Coordinate the management of giveaways and brand materials on behalf of the teams to ensure the marketing materials support the sales effort in a timely manner and within budgets.
    • Submit a report after every marketing activity on the events undertaken for appropriate action to address gaps, and to enhance improvement on future plans
    • Maintain the visitors book (Database), inquiry management and hot customer management after marketing events, and distribute leads to sales teams for follow up.
    • Assist with concept creation and the implementation of marketing promotions and advertising campaigns for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness in the marketing process.
    • Support the planning and execution of customer focused events for both internal and external customers for timely and quality communication
    • Ensure the showrooms have display cars and specification sheets as per the brand standards and guidelines, for enhanced awareness creation of the products on offer
    • Provide support to the marketing teams with day-to-day marketing strategy implementation activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the marketing process
    • Provide administrative brand support to business units includingg procurement and distribution of  promotional items and timely payments of suppliers, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the implementation of marketing strategies and plans by the business units
    • Provide support in the implementation of the marketing strategies for the various brands to ensure marketing objectives are realised
    • Gather and report on consumer data on the regional and local marketing trends, to provide information to be used in the development of competitive marketing strategies for all the Multibrand brands
    • Monitor the response and interest generated by the brand’s marketing activities to assist measure the return on investment for all marketing activities
    • Track competitor activity in order to stay informed on market changes as well as marketing strategies employed by the competitors, to ensure the marketing strategies developed are competitive
    • Conduct market search on brand perception and reputation to assist management develop marketing strategies that are customised to each brand
    • Establish and track the relevant political, regulatory, economic, socio economic, technological and industry market trends in order to provide information to management that assists make informed decisions that ensure CMK is competitive.
    • Analyse consumer data and report on the regional and local marketing trends, to integrate the information in marketing plans and strategies for the Division.

    CPD Warehouse Supervisor

    Job Purpose

    The CPD Warehouse Supervisor is directly responsible for:

    • Provision of prompt and efficient supply of Parts to the outlets in order to satisfy both internal and external customers, to ensure the achievement of targets.

    Main Responsibilities of the Job

    Managerial/Supervisory

    • Coordinate general warehouse activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in warehouse operations;
    • Monitor the performance of the direct reports to ensure high motivation and performance.

    Operational Responsibilities 

    • Supervise picking, packing and dispatch of consignments to ensure lead times are met;
    • Carry out daily safety patrols to ensure full compliance with the CMK safety guidelines, and to recommend corrective actions for any deviations identified
    • Request for replenishment of various materials for packaging to ensure minimal stock outs;
    • Approve gate passes to courier companies collecting parts from Central Parts Depot to facilitate timely delivery of parts to customers, and to ensure only authorized courier companies conduct the deliveries;
    • Ensure the dispatch section and the whole warehouse is neatly arranged.
    • Ensure parts are not double binned and that there is no similar part in different bins.
    • Change bin locations in compliance with the CMK warehouse management guidelines;
    • Ensure parts dispatched are of the right quantities, in good condition, well packed and labelled.
    • Monitor ageing of stock transfer orders in SAP in order to take timely corrective action;
    • Supervise receiving operations;
    • Confirm warehouse denials and communicate to the requesting outlets to ensure timely steps are taken to address the denials;
    • Fill, submit and follow up on claims to transporters for damaged or lost parts in transit.
    • Supervise offloading of consignments delivered by the clearing agent from the trucks to ensure the consignments are stored safely in line with the CMK guidelines;
    • Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner to ensure high customer retention and satisfaction.
    • Participate in mid and end year stocktake to identify variances, conduct investigations on variances, and implement solutions to address the variances;
    • Monitor warehouse storage Kaizen activities to support continuous improvement;
    • Prepare accurate monthly reports on stocks to assist management in decision making on areas of improvement.
    • Any other duty assigned by your supervisor.

    Knowledge, Skills & Experience

    Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply chain
    • Engineering or other relevant field from a recognized institution; or equivalent qualification
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations within a model in a reputable organization.
    • MS Excel for reporting and stock management
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
