About the Role
The role provides operational and analytical support in collecting, organising, analysing and presenting customer information under the guidance of the Head of Research or an assigned supervisor.
The Clerk will assist with customer surveys, feedback analysis, customer journey reviews, dashboards and research reporting. The placement is designed to build practical research and analytics capability while contributing to timely and accurate customer insights for business units across the Group.
The role does not carry independent ownership of strategic recommendations, final market assessments, budgets or business decisions. All outputs will be reviewed and approved by the supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting customer data and feedback from surveys, complaints, service channels, campaigns and relevant business units.
- Clean, validate, consolidate and organize customer datasets using approved templates and data-handling procedures.
- Support the preparation and administration of questionnaires, feedback tools and customer research activities, including response tracking and follow-up on data requests.
- Analyze customer feedback data to identify trends, service gaps and implications for products and services.
- Update customer insight dashboards, trackers and recurring reports, and support customer segmentation, journey mapping and campaign reviews.
- Conduct desk research on customer behavior, customer experience practices and emerging financial services trends.
- Prepare tables, charts, draft reports and presentation materials, and support stakeholder meetings through notetaking and action tracking.
- Maintain research records and comply with data privacy, confidentiality, information-security and records-management requirements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, Market Research or a related field.
- Applicants should be recent graduates.
Key Competencies
- No prior full-time work experience is required.
- Exposure through an internship, industrial attachment, academic research project, data-analysis assignment or business case is desirable.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving ability, with interest in interpreting customer data and feedback. (E)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Support industry benchmarking, market sizing, product research, opportunity assessments and business-case research through data preparation and preliminary findings.
- Prepare tables, charts, weekly updates, draft reports and presentation materials, and support stakeholder engagements through follow-up, note-taking and action tracking.
- Verify and reference sources, maintain an orderly research repository, highlight data gaps or conflicting information, and undertake other assigned research and administrative duties.

About the Role
Reporting to Director Internal Audit, the role is responsible for managing CIC Insurance Group’s Life Assurance subsidiary audit by providing independent, objective assurance and consultancy services in order to improve its overall operations, with specific emphasis on the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess key risks and develop the annual audit work plan that reflects the company’s highest risks to be monitored by the audit function as determined by conducting a mandatory annual risk assessment using an enterprise wide approach.
- Evaluate subsidiary management’s processes of identifying and responding to business and financial risks.
- Plan and execute audit assignments for subsidiaries and support
- Co-ordinate internal auditing activities and plans with other internal and external providers of assurance and consulting activities to ensure proper coverage and minimize duplication of effort.
- Ensure timely completion of internal auditing engagements and reports are provided to the Audit & Risk Committee with minimum delay.
- Review audit workpapers, reports, and findings to assess the quality, accuracy, and relevance of audit work.

- Prepare board papers for discussion with the Board Audit and Risk Committee(s).
- Monitor and report on critical internal control and risk management issues to the Board Audit and Risk Committee(s).
- Monitor the testing of the implementation of Board Audit and Risk recommendations and report back to the Board via reports.
- Practice and promote a culture of high-quality standards, integrity and ethics across the company and group at large.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, developments, and regulatory changes in the field of internal auditing and insurance to ensure the audit work remains current and

Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- CPA (K) or Chartered Accountant
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in audit with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership capacity
Key Competencies
- Experience in the big 4 audit firms or an organization similar in size or larger than CIC Group is an added advantage
- Experience working with diverse and cross functional teams
- Thorough understanding of Life Assurance business
- Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise and knowledge of software requirements for audit of systems procedures;
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
