    Talent Acquisition Business Partner

    As a Talent Acquisition Business Partner based in Nairobi, Kenya, you will play a critical role in sourcing, engaging, and securing top talent for Cigna Healthcare across a wide range of functions. This role is perfect for an agile and results-oriented talent acquisition professional eager to make a tangible impact not only locally, but also internationally. You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR colleagues across geographies, supporting recruitment for vacancies in Kenya as well as in other international markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Partner with business leaders and HR teams to understand talent needs and develop effective recruitment strategies aligned with Cigna Healthcare’s goals.
    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all levels of roles, primarily in Nairobi and also across international markets.
    • Source, screen, and assess candidates using a variety of channels, including direct search, job boards, social media, and networking events.
    • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the selection process.
    • Provide market insights and talent intelligence to inform talent decisions and workforce planning.
    • Build and nurture talent pipelines for future hiring needs across multiple countries.
    • Maintain accurate records and recruitment reports in compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.
    • Contribute to employer branding initiatives across the region and internationally.
    • Collaborate on talent acquisition projects with colleagues in other countries, fostering best practice sharing and innovation.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
    • Experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or related HR roles—ideally within a multinational or healthcare environment.
    • Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end recruitment for a variety of positions.
    • Strong understanding of the talent landscape and recruitment practices in Kenya; exposure to international recruitment is highly desirable.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset.
    • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and digital recruitment tools.

    Claims Representative

    YOUR JOB

    Delivers basic technical, administrative, or operative Claims tasks. Examines and processes paper claims and/or electronic claims from Healthcare Providers. Completes data entry, maintains files, and provides support. Understands simple instructions and procedures. Performs Claims duties under direct instruction and close supervision. Work is allocated on a day-to-day or task-by-task basis with clear instructions. Entry point into professional roles.

    What are your main Duties/Responsibilities:  

    • Adjudicate international medical/dental and vision claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions to meet personal and team productivity and quality goals. 
    • Monitor and highlight high cost claims and ensure relevant parties are aware. 
    • Monitor turnaround times to ensure your claims are settled within required time scales, highlighting to your Supervisor when this is not achievable. 
    • Respond within the time commitment given to enquiries regarding plan design, eligibility, claims status and perform necessary action as required, with first call resolution where possible. 
    • Interface effectively with internal and external customers to resolve Provider issues. 
    • Have full ownership of Provider’s Country Cluster assigned.
    • Identify potential process improvements and make recommendations to team senior. 
    • Actively support other team members and provide resource to enable all team goals to be achieved. 
    • Work across European business in line with service needs. 
    • Carry out other adhoc tasks as required meeting business needs.

    YOUR PROFILE

    • Customer focused with ability to identify and solve problems.
    • Ability to meet/exceed targets and manage multiple priorities. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
    • Preferred if English and Arithmetic qualification gained. 
    • Experience in medical administration, claims environment is advantageous but not essential. 
    • Diploma or Degree in a business or related field is required.

    Business Development Leader Africa

    Purpose of the Job/Key Objective

    As a leader in our Business Development team, you will develop, implement and manage the strategy to grow our portfolio profitably and achieve significant market share across East and Southern Africa. This is both a challenging and exciting opportunity which requires you to develop a detailed understanding of every aspect of the local and international business, lead a diverse team and work with all functional areas. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Distribution Africa and will be responsible for establishing and managing a distribution network of brokers/consultants and strategic partners to ensure profitable growth.         

    Main duties/Responsibilities

    • Lead a Business Development team with members based across different countries in the region;
    • Develop proactive strategy for the allocated region, with regular reviews, maximising specific business opportunities as they arise;
    • Drive generation and follow up of new business leads to meet Business Development and profitability targets in line with overall strategy;
    • Take the lead in converting large corporate opportunities;
    • Build up and maintain distribution network of brokers/consultants and strategic partners;
    • Keep abreast of all developments in the market both client and competitor-related, contributing to new product development/business initiatives accordingly;
    • Liaise with other Cigna offices to develop opportunities;
    • Liaise with internal departments in line with established procedures to generate growth opportunities whilst maintaining a high level of service;
    • Participate in key projects as may be required
    • Report out on results through strong data management and reporting.

    Business Development Management Skills

    • Minimum 5 years of experience of Business Development in the insurance or healthcare sector
    • Experience working across Africa
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
    • Experience with People Management and strong coaching skills
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise fashion
    • Effective relationship builder
    • Excellent time management and project management skills
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Experience in MS Office Suite
    • Fast thinker/problem solver with the ability to work in fast-paced environments
    • Team player, able to partner and collaborate with a large number of organizations and functions at all levels
    • Numeracy and ability to analyse statistical information
