  • Project Officer

    Responsibilities

    Preparation & Implementation of B2C concepts 

    • Developing and maintain our new B2C concept which has been launched recently 
    • In coordination with the Austrian Marketing team, establish and execute a Marketing campaign to reach the right target audience 
    • Planning and hosting events to market the campaign 
    • Onboarding and overseeing the people who join the program 
    • Keeping documentation and progress of the program (definition and tracking of set KPIs) 
    • Further development and optimization of the program, e.g. in regards to different packages offered 
    • Market research & development 
    • Research in regards to market potential, legal framework, competition, partners, pricing, industry in new markets in East Africa 
    • Financial projection and budget of market expansion 
    • Defining strategy and timeline of the execution plans 

    Preparation & Implementation of B2B Concepts 

    • Developing and maintaining partnerships with other recycling and waste collecting companies 
    • Establishing an operational concept for household collection and subsequently overseeing and tracking this household collection 
    • Digital Integration of the digital reward system 
    • Issuing joint certificates to our joint vendors 
    • Further developing the collaboration 

    Public relations and stakeholder management 

    • Maintaining existing partnerships and coordinating joint projects 
    • Identifying and establishing new partnerships 
    • Spreading awareness on the environmental and health implications of Used Cooking Oil, e.g. through public and private partnerships, events, stronger Social Media presence, etc. 

    Requirements

    • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field 
    • Minimum 2 years of experience 
    • Experience in waste management or recycling will be an added advantage
    • Good communication skills and excellent proficiency in English 
    • Proven track record in business development or sales in projects
    • Proficiency in MS Office 
    • Diligence, proactiveness, integrity and consistency in follow ups and meeting deadlines
    • To be a team player and coordinate tasks within the team
    • Ability to meet timelines, highly developed sense of initiative and representation of the company
    • Rational and critical thinking in decision making in line with company policies
    • A commitment to maintaining the highest level of ethics and confidentiality in handling employee’s data

    Human Resource & Administration Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Overseeing attendance, sick leave and holidays of employees 
    • Managing the recruitment process of new employees (creating job profiles, sourcing candidates through different channels, pre-screening of candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, selecting the most suitable candidate together with the corresponding department heads) 
    • Managing and developing induction process for new employees, as well as leave process for employees exiting the company 
    • Drafting employee contracts and gathering all necessary documentation from new hires 
    • Onboarding new employees to the company and handling all related administrative tasks 
    • Keeping track of employees’ performance and KPIs, as well as conducting performance review meetings with employees and respective department heads 
    • Onboarding employees to the health insurance 
    • Ensuring seamless collaboration with external parties such as HR recruiting companies

     Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business degree with a focus on Human Resource Management.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in an HR & Admin role within the manufacturing industry.
    • Good communication skills and excellent proficiency in English
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Experience with ERP-Systems (e.g. Microsoft Navision Dynamics)
    • Must be well conversant with the labour laws and ethical HR practices.
    • Must be a Member of IHRM.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Flexibility – be open to change and new information.
    • Knowledge on labor laws and government regulations that concern workplaces and employment matters.

    • Collaborate with the parents and communicate with them regularly regarding children’s performance on their diaries and electronically.

    Qualifications:

    • P1/Diploma in teaching specializing in teaching English Literature. 
    • Must be registered by the TSC
    • Experience in Jolly Phonics is desirable
