    Laboratory Technologist and Microbiologist

     Major Accountabilities and activities:

    1. Develop new methods and procedures.
    2. Ensure that Lab. cleanliness & AD equipment safety standards are maintained.
    3. Participate in Microbial Analysis of Lab scale, Pilot batches and stability product.
    4. Preparation of test solutions and volumetric solutions
    5. Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
    6. Preparing analytical Protocol and reports based on scientific observations.
    7. Interpret test results, compare them to established control limits, and make recommendations.
    8. Participate in Departmental training.
    9. Ensure that Calibration of AD equipment is done.
    10. Compile and tabulate stability data based on observations and AD analytical tests.
    11. Follow up on daily, weekly, monthly and annual AD objectives.
    12. Preparation of calibration and verifications of analytical machines
    13. Conducting literature search for new method development
    14. Handling of AD stability registers, worksheets and other related documents and reports
    15. Participate in investigations of out-of-trend and out of specifications results.
    16. Method validation and verification.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    1. Must Have: Minimum Requirements

    3. BSc. In Chem, Analytical Chem, Biochemistry, Microbiology or any other health related Science.
    4. 2+ years’ experience of working as a Quality Control Analyst or other similar position.

    Environmental, Health and Safety Officer

    Major Accountabilities and activities:

    1. Compliance Enforcement: Ensure all employees comply with health and safety standards and procedures.
    2. Training Facilitation: Conduct training sessions to empower employees with knowledge on health and safety practices.
    3. Health & Safety Committee Operations: Act as the Secretary of the Health & Safety Committee, organizing quarterly meetings and ensuring that minutes are prepared and shared with relevant authorities.
    4. Risk Assessment Leadership: Lead formal risk assessments to identify and manage occupational EHS hazards across company activities.
    5. Liaison with Authorities: Coordinate with regulatory bodies (DOSH, NEMA, Counties) to secure necessary permits and operational compliance regulation as required by law.
    6. Incident Management: Record, investigate, and take corrective actions for all accidents and incidents, maintaining an Incident Register.
    7. Audit Coordination: Develop and implement schedules for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with NEMA, OSHA, and other relevant standards.
    8. Goal Setting: Establish corporate targets for EHS performance improvement and develop business continuity and Emergency Response Plans.
    9. Legislation Adherence: Stay updated with relevant health and safety legislation and ensure organizational compliance

    Qualifications and Experience:
    Must Have: Minimum Requirements
    To be considered, these minimum requirements must be evident on your resume.

    1. Diploma/University Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or NEBOSH certification.
    2. Experience in Training.
    3. 3 years’ working experience, preferably in a Manufacturing Company.
    4. Expert understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 2007, ILO guidelines on occupational safety and health management systems.
    5. Knowledge of all compliance requirements by DOSH and NEMA required
    6. Audit experience is an added advantage.
    7. Strong communication and presentation skills.
    8. Excellent Computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point.
