    Printer Technician

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and proactive HP LaserJet Printer Technician to join the clients technical team. The role involves hands-on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HP LaserJet printers. The ideal candidate should be highly experienced in HP LaserJet models, capable of resolving issues quickly, and ensuring optimal performance of all devices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Installation & Configuration:

    • Install and configure HP LaserJet printers and MFDs, ensuring proper network connectivity.
    • Integrate printers into workstation and network environments.

    Diagnostics & Troubleshooting:

    • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues (paper jams, print quality problems, connectivity errors).
    • Utilize HP diagnostic tools and software for efficient problem resolution.

    Repair & Preventive Maintenance:

    • Replace faulty parts (fusers, formatter boards, pickup rollers, maintenance kits).
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns.

    Parts & Inventory Management:

    • Manage spare parts and consumables inventory (toners, drums, maintenance kits).
    • Proactively reorder supplies to avoid shortages.

    User Support & Training:

    • Provide hands-on support for users and resolve escalated printer issues.
    • Train staff on basic troubleshooting to minimize recurring problems.

    Network & Technical Support:

    • Troubleshoot and resolve network printing issues (TCP/IP, print server conflicts, driver installations).
    • Liaise with IT teams on advanced network printing configurations.

    Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain service logs, repair history, and maintenance schedules.
    • Provide reports on printer health, parts usage, and downtime analysis.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Diploma/Certificate in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field.
    • HP Certification is a strong and added advantage.
    • 2-3 years of proven hands-on experience with HP LaserJet printers is essential.
    • Strong track record working with a range of models such as HP LaserJet Enterprise M604/M607/609/611 and HP LaserJet Pro 4103.
    • In-depth understanding of laser printing technology and electro-mechanical systems.
    • Solid knowledge of networked printing environments and print server configurations.
    • Valid drivers license for field service support.

    Technical Skills & Competencies:

    • In-depth knowledge of HP LaserJet printer architecture, components, and error codes.
    • Proficiency with HP diagnostic tools and service utilities.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    Sales & Marketing Specialist

    Job Summary:

    The Sales & Marketing Specialist Automotive Spare Parts will be responsible for driving sales, setting up the spare parts sales department, and leading marketing efforts for a new line of premium automotive spare parts. This role blends strategy and execution ideal for a self-starter who thrives in developing markets and understands the automotive parts ecosystem in Kenya.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Department Development

    • Support the setup and structuring of a dedicated sales department for the spare parts product line.
    • Define sales workflows, client engagement processes, KPIs, and reporting tools.
    • Assist in recruiting and onboarding future sales team members as the department grows.

    Market Research & Analysis

    • Conduct thorough market research specific to automotive spare parts, identifying demand gaps, target customers (dealers, garages, distributors), and competitor offerings.
    • Analyze customer needs in the premium spare parts segment (e.g., German, Japanese vehicles).
    • Deliver data-driven insights to guide pricing, packaging, and distribution models.

    Sales & Marketing Strategy

    • Craft persuasive value propositions and product presentations for target customer segments.
    • Collaborate with management on branding, promotions, and campaigns tailored to this product line.

    Client Identification & Engagement

    • Build strong relationships with existing clients and introduce them to the premium line.
    • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, or auto expos to promote the brand and generate leads.

    Advisory Role to Management

    • Provide regular feedback on sales performance, client feedback, and competitor activity in the spare parts sector.
    • Recommend updates on product offerings, pricing, and client retention strategies.
    • Contribute to strategic decision-making regarding market entry and expansion.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of relevant experience in automotive spare parts sales, B2B marketing, or similar sectors (FMCG/industrial components).
    • Proven track record in launching or growing a product line, especially in a competitive industry.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Deep knowledge of the automotive spare parts ecosystem (including brands, local supply chains, and consumer buying behavior).
    • Analytical thinker with strong market research capabilities.

    Software Developer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Participate in the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using Laravel (PHP) and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
    • Develop and maintain secure REST APIs supporting mobile kiosks, queueing systems, and third-party integrations (e.g., SMS gateways, HMIS, ERP, payment systems).
    • Build responsive, user-friendly frontends using Blade, Vue.js, React, or equivalent JavaScript frameworks.
    • Maintain and enhance C# Windows Forms/WPF applications used in kiosks, LED displays, and digital signage systems.
    • Work with real-time communication protocols such as SignalR, WebSockets, or MQTT to enable live dashboards and announcement systems.

    • Ensure best practices in security, scalability, performance, and maintainability of all software solutions.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
    • Expertise in Laravel (PHP), MySQL/Postgres, JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Alpine.js), HTML5, and CSS3.
    • Proficient in C# (.NET, Windows Forms/WPF) for desktop and kiosk-based applications.
    • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, OAuth, JWT, and LDAP authentication.
    • Experience with SMS/email integrations, OTP flows, and real-time notification systems.
    • Deep understanding of database design, query optimization, and caching strategies.
    • Exposure to DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Bonus: Familiarity with hospital or banking systems, queue management solutions, or hardware integration (e.g., printers, kiosks, LED displays).
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, creativity, and a proactive mindset.
    • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
