    Senior Manager, Strategic Risk

    Key Responsibilities

    • Gathering and analyzing information, formulating, and testing strategic risk hypotheses, and developing and communicating strategic risk management recommendations.
    • Overall liaison of strategic risk assessment template dissemination, engagement meetings, collation, and presentation.
    • Cascade of independent strategic risk management reviews against approved plan and quarterly review of likelihood of meeting strategic objectives.
    • Prepare monthly Strategic Risk Monitoring reports to EXCO and Senior Management, and half-yearly reports to the Board.
    • Provide management of the overall strategic risk management review process, working in conjunction with responsible line leaders and champions
    • Work with various internal stakeholders to manage strategic risk assessments, validation, and tracking for all units 
    • Developing Strategic Business Impact Analysis and Vulnerabilities and the risks to the development and implementation of strategic plans.

    Manager – Lending Commercialization, Digital Financial Services

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Collaborate with marketing and sales to design and deploy merchant and customer acquisition plans, rules of engagement, sales processes, route to market, digital marketing, CVM, toolkits, CX support, training manuals and key performance metrics for new digital lending products / enhancements.
    • Use customer insights and market deep knowledge to develop quick scale to value customer and merchant acquisition programs for all digital lending product innovations /and enhancements. 
    • Leverage sales team insights to develop tactical product uptake campaigns and promotions toolkits to quickly scale digital lending customer numbers and usage growth numbers in line with business expectations.
    • Work closely with CVM, CX and Product Managers to resolve customer journey pain points across customers, merchants, agents, and partners for new digital lending products / enhancements.
    • In coordination with other stakeholders prepare and deploy go live launch kits and post launch reviews of new digital lending products in line with the banks innovation procedures and policies 
    • Prepare and deliver new product launch kits / tool kits, execution materials and training manuals for deployment by the growth team.  
    • Resolving any escalated customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction

    The Person

    For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following: 

    • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. 
    • Professional qualification/Certification in CPA (K), Marketing, IT etc is an added advantage.

    Finance Manager -KCB Investment Bank

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the Strategic planning process including preparing budgets, estimates and forecasts in a timely manner and monitoring to ensure all costs are within budget. 
    • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements including submission of required returns to CMA 
    • Preparation of monthly management accounts, quarterly board pack incorporating insights into the performance. This includes validating balances reported and providing analytical data for decision making.
    • General Ledger Management; preparation of journal entries, monitoring and reconciliations of Bank accounts
    • Treasury /Working capital management i.e. Efficient management of current assets (cash, receivables, inventory) and current liabilities (payables, accruals) and investment of excess funds.
    • Supply chain management including payables, intercompany & tax – this includes compliance with expenditure controls, timely submission of tax, monitoring of payment GLs, intercompany reconciliation and supply chain management.
    • Coordination of the annual audit process in liaison with external auditors and internal auditors and remediate significant deficiencies within the agreed timelines.
    • Embed and implement robust controls and review processes through balance sheet reviews/substantiation to identify risk issues, track aged items and ensure closure and/or escalation of issues.
    • Ensure adequate controls are in place for revenue assurance, expenditure and fixed asset cycles. Provide profitability positions for all cost/revenue centres. 
    • Scanning the operating environment for legislative/ regulatory changes and preparing impact analysis that provide insights for decision making.
    • Daily review of general ledger to ensure balances are properly accounted.
    • Review of Bank balances, suspense accounts to ensure proper reconciliation and that they are adequately funded.
    • Track business performance against budgets and provide insights on risks and opportunities to the business.
    • Scan the operating environment to identify opportunities for business improvement
    • Ensure the day-to-day activities for the Finance function

    Senior Manager, Core Banking Engineering

    Job Description

    • Primary role and responsibility is to oversee and manage the implementation of core banking system(T24) changes/enhancements of the organization.
    • Leads design and development of initiatives/projects involving minor or major enhancements and upgrades of the core banking system (T24) including overseeing development of the technical specifications and application design criteria based on functional and non-functional requirements to meet the business needs.
    • Researches and works with Group Enterprise Architecture teams to implement new technologies that will introduce efficiencies on the Core banking system and its periphery systems.
    • Leads a team of highly skilled engineers to make changes/enhancements and to provide 3rd level support on the core banking system (T24).

    Senior Brand Manager

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Developing annual brand plans for differentiated complex and diverse product lines, as well as executing tactical initiatives for the products’ marketing in a seamless manner

    Brand Manager - Business Marketing
