Duties and Responsibilities
- Formulating and implementing KTDA Power Company’s strategies, policies, and procedures

Qualifications/Skills/Experience
- Master’s degree in Leadership, Strategy or Business Management and Engineering related fields
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- A minimum fifteen (15) years of experience, five (5) of which must have been at a senior managerial level
- A member of the Engineering Board or other recognized body
- Must have demonstrated ability to handle divisional budgets, resources, processes, projects and relationships

Position scope
KTDA Foundation and Social enterprise mandate is to initiate interventions that improve the welfare of small holder tea farmers in Kenya through strategic partnerships in areas of education, health, economic empowerment and environmental conservation.
Reporting to the General Manager KTDA Foundation and Social Enterprises, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the business initiatives and efforts to mobilize and secure funding and build sustainable business partnerships, networks and linkages to enable the Foundation achieve its mission to revitalize the smallholder tea sector in Kenya.
Duties and Responsibilities
Resource Mobilization Strategy Development and Implementation
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy aligned with the KTDA Holdings and KTDA Foundation’s strategic plans and funding priorities
- Identifying and researching potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, government agencies, multilateral organizations, and individual donors
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective donors, providing regular updates on the Foundation’s work and impact
- Preparing compelling grant proposals, fundraising materials, and presentations to secure funding for the Foundation’s programs and social enterprise
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of resource mobilization activities, tracking progress against goals, and making adjustments as needed.
Business Development and Partnership Management
- Identifying and developing innovative business opportunities that generate revenue to support the KTDA Foundation’s activities

- Developing business plans and financial models for new business initiatives
