    Medical-Surgical Nurse

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
    • Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
    • Educate patients and families on health care plans, procedures, and post-discharge care.
    • Uphold infection prevention and control standards.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
    • Registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK)and possess a valid practicing license.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy medical-surgical unit.
    • BLS and ACLS certification is an added advantage.
    • Strong clinical and communication skills.

    Receptionist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
    • Answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate departments, and take accurate messages.
    • Schedule appointments and manage the hospital’s front desk calendar.
    • Register patients, verify personal and insurance information, and maintain accurate records.
    • Guide patients through the hospital’s service process and respond to inquiries.
    • Ensure cleanliness and order at the reception area.
    • Perform basic clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
    • Uphold patient confidentiality and customer service excellence.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Diploma in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Front Office Operations, or related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a busy front office, preferably in a healthcare setting.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask and manage a high-paced environment.

    Laboratory Technologist

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Collect, label, and analyze blood, urine, and other body fluid samples.
    • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment following standard operating procedures.
    • Accurately record and report test results to clinicians in a timely manner.
    • Ensure proper sample handling and adherence to safety and quality standards.
    • Participate in internal and external quality assurance programs.
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of patient information.
    • Support in inventory management and reagent stock levels.
    • Observe infection prevention and control protocols at all times.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from a recognized institution.
    • Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
    • Minimum 2 years of post-internship experience in a busy hospital laboratory.
    • Proficiency in operating automated laboratory equipment.
    • Knowledge of ISO 15189 standards is an added advantage.
