Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiating, preparing and monitoring the implementation of County and local physical and Land Use development plans;
- Providing advice on development applications and devclopment control matters;
- Implementing and providing feedback on physical and land use planning guidelines and standards:
- Managing physical and land use planning data;
- Preparing action plang for specific projects such as residential housing schemes, shopping centres, industrial estates and recreational facilities;
- Undertaking thematic regional studies on matters relating to physical and land use planning;
- Preparing annual state of physical planning reports on county and local physical development ; plans;
- Set agenda and convene physical planning liaison committee meetings;
- Keeping record of deliberations and communicate decisions of the physical planning liaison committees; and
- Management of physical and land use planning data.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Planning or Town Planning from a recognized institution;
- Be a member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter); E
- Have a certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution: and
- Have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in Physical Planning

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:
- Carrying out Global Navigation Satellite System measurements;
- Supervising gravity and magnetic control observations and computations, cadastral, topographical, photo control, engineering surveys;
- Carrying out topographical, engineering, cadastral and general boundary surveys; and
- Supervising maintaining and testing of survey and mapping equipment;
Requirements for Appointment:
- Bea Kenyan citizen;
- Must have a working experience of not less than 6 years in land survey field;
- Bachelor's degree in arty of the following disciplines: - Land Surveying and Photogrammetry, Geomatics, Geomatic Engineering, Technology in Geomatics, Technology in Geo- informatics, Geo-spatial Engineering, Philosophy in Technology (Survey), from a recognized institution;
- Membership of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK);
- Certificate in computer applications; and
- High degree of professional competence and administrative capability.

Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
- Information gathering on topical issues and verifying its authenticity;
- Editing and dispatching the information for dissemination to the public and media.
- Assist in drafting press releases, news articles, newsletters, and other’ communication materials;
- Create engaging and informative content for the county's website and social media platforms;
- Music/video production;
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with local and regional media outlets;
- Assist in responding to media inquiries and coordinating interviews with county officials;
- Monitor and update the county's social media accounts with relevant and timely content;
- Engage with online budisitces and respond to comments and messages;
- Assist in planning and promoting county events, meetings, and public hearings;
- Coordinate with event organizers to ensure proper communication;
- Facilitate internal gommunication- within county government departments by sharing important updates, announcements, and policies;
- Assist in preparing communication strategies and materials for crisis situations;
- Help manage and disseminate information during emergencies or critical incidents.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have;
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain;
- Holder of a Diploma in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism, Mass Communication,
- International Relations, Communication Studies, Public Relations, or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
- Be proficient in computer applications;
- Strong written and verbal communieation skills;
- Proficiency in digital communication tools, including social mean platforms.
- Basic graphic design and multimedia skills will be an added advantage;
- Knowledge of local government operations and issues (specific to the county) is a plus; ,
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks;
- Music and audio production, artiste branding and music distribution will be an added* advantage.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -
- Design of Electrical services in government buildings and construction works;
- Repair and maintenance of Electrical installations in floodlights, streetlights, offices, workshops conference complexes and other government facilities.
- Undertaking projects;
- Preparation of specifications for new equipment; and
- Processing of tenders for Electrical installation work.
Requirements for appointment:
- Be a Kenyan Citizen;
- ‘A Bachelor’s: Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; .
- Be registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer;
- Member of Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) - Graduate Engineer;
- A minimum of 6 years’ experience in Engineering (Electrical (BS)) in the public or private institution will be an added advantage;
- A project and Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
- General administrative ability required for direction, control and implementation of electrical services programmes.
