    Admission Counsellor

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provides information about higher education generally.
    • Advises students and provides substantive information on admissions requirements, school and/or college programs and curriculum, financial aid (as and when applicable), housing, and career opportunities
    • Determines when it is appropriate to escalate issues to experienced level staff when presented with more complex applications
    • Responds to inquiries from prospective students, applicants, parents or counselors regarding entrance requirements, application procedures, financial aid availability, housing alternatives, etc.
    • Provides administrative support for the office and the admissions leadership team.

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge and experience working with a diverse student population
    • If the candidate also has experience in the field of sales in his/her overall experience ie. Insurance sales or Financial sales
    • Study abroad experience will be an added advantage
    • Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
    • Computer skills in MS Windows, the internet, browsers and search engines, email, word processing, data entry, and CRM.
    • Should have basic communication skills in English and Kiswahili
    • Should have worked with targets and objectives in previous organizations.

    Senior Human Resource Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals to ensure operational efficiency.
    • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, onboarding, and talent retention.
    • Manage HR administrative tasks such as payroll, employee records, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.

    • A Proven understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance standards.
    • Experience handling recruitment, talent management, and employee engagement in fast-paced environments.
    • Proficiency in HR management systems and tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage HR operations effectively.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to thrive in demanding, high-volume workplaces.

    Recruiter

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
    • Source candidates through multiple channels such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.
    • Maintain and update a strong talent pipeline to meet future staffing demands.
    • Draft and post compelling job advertisements to attract qualified candidates.
    • Conduct pre-screening interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications, culture fit, and experience.
    • Oversee the candidate offer process, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • A minimum of 4 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2 years in a high-paced environment such as manufacturing, FMCG, or retail.
    • Proven experience managing multiple roles simultaneously with a track record of meeting hiring targets.
    • Strong sourcing skills, including proficiency in using ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other hiring tools.
    • Excellent interviewing, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze recruitment metrics to improve processes.
    • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and best practices in recruitment and selection.
