    Maintenance Engineers

    For aircraft maintained by Safarilink Aviation:

    • To carry out and/or certify routine, unscheduled, and corrective maintenance on Dash 8-100/200/300/400 and Cessna 2088 series aircraft, as permitted by the company authorization:
    • Assist in carrying out routine, unscheduled, and corrective maintenance on other aircraft types.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure that work is carried out to the required specification and standards;
    • Ensure that regulatory and safety requirements are met;
    • Supervision of staff as requirect
    • Other duties as directed by the Head of Base Maintenance Manager  and/or Head of Line Maintenance and/or Head of Workshop.

    PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES.

    • Kenyan Civil Aviation Authority basic "A" and "C" (gas turbine engines) License;
    • Having received initial type training on Dash 8-
    • 100/200/300/400 and Cessna 2088 series aircraft.
    • At least 2 years of type-related practical experience, base and line maintenance, in the capacity of certifying engineer.
    • Have a minimum of five years' experience in the industry

    Planning and Records Officer

    About the Role:

    • Reporting to the Head of Maintenance, the Senior Planning and Records Officer will be responsible for developing and defining engineering and planning standards within their discipline for Safarilink and supported fleets

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Monitor and coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations in compliance with regulations.
    • Prepare work scopes for aircraft/engine/propeler/APU based on the upcoming hangor/shop visits
    • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff within the technical section ensuring compliance with type certificate and -anm and sporting activities for timely and accurate
    • Represent technical services in inter-and intra-departmental forums.
    • Develop and implement engine stagger programs and removal plans in collaboration with the planning division

    PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES.

    • Bachelor's degree/Diploma from a recognized institution in Aeronautical Engineering
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance planning and technical records in the aviation industry
    • Detailed knowledge of KCAA A regulations in-depth knowledge of aircraft systems os and maintenance processes communication and interpersonal skills
    • Familiarity with analytical software used in aircraft maintenance planning
    • Strong team player with e hexcelent c
    • High level of integrity and safety consciousness
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and maintenance management software systems.
    • Experience with reliability-centered maintenance RCM) principles preferred.
    • Ability to w to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals.
    • Collaborate with the Quality department team to ensure all maintenance activities meet or exceed regulatory standards.
    • Participate in root cause analysis for technical incidents and develop corective action plans
    • Liaise with aircraft and component manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve maintenance procedures.
    • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the technical team

    First Officers

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The First Officer will be responsible for assisting the pilot in Command with designated/allocated fight duties to ensure a safe fight.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS.

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen
    • Hold a Kenyan CPL, IR, ME
    • A Multi engine Instrument Rating
    • Hold a Caravan 208 B Type Rating
    • Minimum 200 hours total flight time
