    Supply Officer

    Competencies

    Education

    • An advanced university degree (Master's or Doctorate degree, or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, supply chain management, engineering, social sciences or related fields is required. A first-level degree (Bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of relevant work experience in supply services, fuel or rations may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

    Work Experience

    • A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, engineering, property management, contract management, project management or related area, is required.
    • Experience in managing support services in international operations in a post conflict environment is desirable.
    • Experience with MRP (Materials Requirements Planning), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), e.g. SAP ECC (ERP Central Component), or SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) in the areas of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, procurement and logistics processes is desirable.

    Languages

    English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position fluency in English, (both oral and written) is required.

    Property Management Assistant

    • Experience in application on the Financial Rules and Inventory Management Systems in the United Nations Common System or a comparable international organization, National or International NGO is desirable.
    • Experience in application/use of electronic inventory applications and accountability practices in the United Nations Common System or a comparable international organization, National or International NGO is desirable.

    Languages

    • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this position, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.

    Assessment

    Evaluation of qualified candidates may include an assessment exercise which may be followed by competency-based interview.
