• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
• At least 3 years relevant job experience with Grade II testing qualifications

• Perform general plumbing work including installing storm water, sanitary and water piping systems, assembling and installing pipes, valves, fittings and fixtures, and testing pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
• Perform physical laboring tasks associated with plumbing work such as lifting and adjusting heavy objects, concreting and rendering, and cleaning up work site.
• Safe and effective operation and maintenance of assigned tools, plant and equipment associated with the job using required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.
• Estimate hours, materials and special equipment required to perform specific tasks.
• Order materials required to perform specific tasks and schedule work in cooperation with other trades and suppliers.
