Perform general plumbing work including installing storm water, sanitary and water piping systems, assembling and installing pipes, valves, fittings and fixtures, and testing pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.
Perform physical laboring tasks associated with plumbing work such as lifting and adjusting heavy objects, concreting and rendering, and cleaning up work site.
Safe and effective operation and maintenance of assigned tools, plant and equipment associated with the job using required Personal Protective Equipment.
Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.
Estimate hours, materials and special equipment required to perform specific tasks.
Order materials required to perform specific tasks and schedule work in cooperation with other trades and suppliers.
Keep records of assignments and produce work reports.
Comply with organizational policies and procedures and local laws as appropriate.
At least 3 years relevant experience with grade II qualifications
