    Outputs

    • Develop and implement channel strategies to the copmany
    • Develop and drive a local content strategy
    • Managing the licensing and commissioning of content, and ensuring company policies and corporate governance guidelines re content acquisitions are applied
    • Contracting and contract management
    • Budgeting and budget control
    • Managing channel branding, marketing, publicity and social media activities
    • Drive commercial sales and revenue growth per channel per region
    • Oversee channel operations
    • Manage stakeholder relationships for collaborative achievement of objectives
    • Lead and effectively manage a multicultural team in a matrix environment and across geographical locations

    • Extensive knowledge and experience of television programming
    • Excellent knowledge of local Pay TV industries & Pay TV operations in the regions
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in the local TV industries
    • Strong financial background and financial management experience
    • General management experience
    • Project, product, services & market feasibility analysis skills
    • Economic and Market research experience
    • Strategic planning and consulting experience
    • Minimum Academic Qualification: Post- graduate degree in a related field

    Broadcast Technology Operations

     

    Broadcast Technology Operations Job Accountabilities

    • Ensure world-class service levels for all Terrestrial Operation broadcast platforms
    • Optimized resource utilization (sites, equipment, staff, operational costs )
    • Ensure effective implementation of new services and software/hardware on various Broadcast platforms
    • Ensure sophisticated monitoring and quality control procedures
    • Established and maintained operational recovery processes within Terrestrial Operations
    • Effective communication up & down
    • Overall responsibility and ownership and rapid resolution of Terrestrial Operations service issues.
    • Establish, implement and maintain operational processes to achieve optimum service levels
    • Support Satellite Operations infrastructure
    • Contracts management with service providers
    • Managed product monitoring (up time, down time)
    • Change control and problem solving processes
    • Database management (event and fault logging)
    • Streamlined processes and operational efficiency and cost effective delivery
    • Standard Operating Procedures
      Established and maintained recovery processes
    • Management Reports
    • Ensure Corporate Governance process are followed

    Qualifications Required for the Broadcast Technology Operations Job

    • A degree in engineering or related field.
    • 5 years’ experience working in the same position preferably at a senior level.
    • Experience working in the pay TV industry
