    Medical Officer - ICU

    Reporting to the Clinical Services in Charge, this position will be responsible for:

    • Providing superior interventional and preventative medical care in the critical care unit.

    Applicants must be in possession of:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Medicine and Surgery (MbCHb), valid certification in BLS, ATLS, ACLS and registration and annual licences from KMPDB.
    • In addition they must have a minimum 1 year experience working in a busy hospital environment and have active knowledge on management of critically ill patients.

    Reporting to the Clinical Services in Charge, this position will be responsible for :

    Applicants must be in possession of a :

    Clinical Officer - Anaesthetist

    With a matrix reporting to the Nursing Officer in Charge-Theatre and the Clinical Services in Charge, this position will be responsible for:

    • Providing quality anaesthetic services in theatre while ensuring pre and post-operative patient safety.
    • Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and a Higher National Diploma in Anaesthesia, with valid certification in ATLS and ACLS.
    • In addition they must have a minimum 5 years cumulative experience of which 3 years should be in providing anaesthetist services in a busy hospital theatre.

    Senior Nurses

    Reporting to the Nursing Officer, this position is responsible for :

    • Provision of high quality nursing care within (Maternity, OPD, Medical /Surgical wards).

    In addition this position is responsible for shift leading.

    • Applicants must be in possession of a nursing qualification at Diploma or Degree level, valid certification in BLS, ACLS or ATLS and above 4 years post-graduation working experience in a busy hospital setting.
    • Possession of a Higher National diploma in a specialized area and experience leading a team will be a distinct advantage

    Clinical Nurse Instructor

    Reporting to the Head of Department –School of Nursing, this position is responsible for:

    • Facilitating clinical teaching and improving nursing quality to nursing trainees on rotation, in line with The Nairobi Women Hospital’s mission, vision, goals and core values.
    • Applicants must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and with more than 2 year relevant work experience in a hospital setting of which 1 year must be in a similar position.

    Pharmaceutical Technologists

    Reporting to the Pharmacy Services in Charge this position will be

    • Responsible for receiving and filling prescription requests as per company policies and procedures.
    • Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technologist and a valid license with the KPPB.
    • In addition they must have minimum post registration experience of 1 year in a busy hospital environment.

    Laboratory Technologist

    Reporting to the Laboratory Services in Charge this position will be responsible for

    • Collecting and testing of patient specimens and generating accurate reports to support treatment.
    • Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences and in possession of a valid license with the KMLTTB. In addition they must have minimum post qualification experience of 1 year in a busy hospital environment.
