    Auditor-Audit and Risk Management East Africa

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE
     
    Primary responsibilities include development and execution of Internal Audit plans, partnership and coordination of work with Corporate Audit. Direction and management of investigations from whistle blowers in East Africa Cluster, including discussion of investigation findings, implementation of remedial actions and sanctions where required.
     
    JOB SUMMARY
    • Execute audit assignments and completion within the planned timelines.
    • Monitoring the implementation of recommendations and performance of follow-up audits
    • Review and ensure development of appropriate investigation plans and procedures
    • Review investigation reports and agree on sanctions with Code Officer
    • Co-ordination and support to Corporate Audit teams when in country.
       
    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
    • Chartered accountant is a plus
    • Experience in Auditing in Manufacturing or FMCG industry (either external or Internal Audit). At least 3years
    • Incisive analytical ability especially Root Cause Analysis
    • Flexible and able to grow into greater Finance functions in Unilever

    Technician

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE
     
    To support manufacturing achieve their production, quality and safety targets. To support the Project Implementation. 
     
    JOB SUMMARY
    • Is responsible for in line production quality
    • Maintains safe working atmosphere of the equipment and coworkers and contributes to hazard reporting process of the factory
    • Submits daily maintenance and breakdown reports
    • Follows the spare part management procedure
    • Is responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of the line equipment
    • Performs size changeovers of the equipment
    • Is responsible for operating workshop related equipment (e.g. welding, lathe, milling operation)
    • Supports shift mechanical technician
    • Participates in Plant Maintenance meetings
    • Implements continuous improvements assignments.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A Diploma/higher National Diploma in Engineering (electrical/mechanical/ mechatronic)
    • 2 Years’ experience in the manufacturing sector.
    • Good proficiency in use of computer packages, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

    Quality Analyst

    MAIN JOB PURPOSE
