Social Policy Internships Qualifications

• A first-level university degree in social protection, social policy, economics, public policy, or another field relevant to the assignment.
• Currently enrolled in a second-level university degree program in a related field.
• Fluency in English is required. Fluency in a second UN language relevant to the region (e.g., French, Portuguese) is an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Comfort with statistical analysis tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with the debates around social protection at a global or regional level is an advantage.

Terms of the Social Policy Internships

• Internships are typically unpaid.
• Individuals must fund their own travel and living expenses.
• Individuals must have proof of medical insurance covering their time at the duty station.
• Individuals are responsible for arranging any visa or immigration requirements.
