Blow Molder Operator Job Responsibilities

• Sets up and operate blow molding machine to mold plastic products according to specifications
• Turns valves to start flow of water and release air pressure to machine.
• Move machine controls to set timing unit and temperature of heating unit and start automatic feed mechanism.
• Adjusts machine mandrel and aligns mandrel with mold chamber, using wrenches.
• Start molding machine that automatically feeds material from mixing unit to mandrel and to mold chamber.
• Close chamber to mold product under heat and pressure.
• Remove work piece from mold after timing device opens mold, and trims excess material from work piece, using knife or band saw.
• Regrind excess material and unsatisfactory work piece for reuse, using grinding machine.
• May weigh completed work piece to determine accuracy of machine operation.

Qualifications for the Blow Molder Operator Jobs

• Postgraduate Diploma
• 3 years’ experience in a FMCG setup (3 years’ experience operating blow mold machine)
• Ability to work in production environments with constantly moving mechanical parts
• Ability to work in environments with varying temperatures and seasonal changes
• Must have worked in a dairy industry.

• Monitoring of OPRP 1, (Inspection and analysis of all incoming material] raw/packaging materials).
• Monitoring CCP1 [Pasteurization]
• Daily Calibration of all thermal equipment.
• Monitoring of CIP AND COP at the section OPRP1 and CCP1
• Monitoring and adjusting the CIP Chemicals.
• Facility temperature monitoring.
• Full participation in Food Safety and QA team activities

• Supervise operations such as pasteurizing, standardization, separating, evaporating, drying, cooling and storing of the milk products.
• Examines samples of milk, order changes in temperature and adding of accurate amounts of ingredients in order to obtain specified texture and viscosity.

Refrigeration Technician Job Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Ammonia System or a large refrigeration system to meet Production’s refrigeration requirements.
• Manage the safety of the refrigerators and air conditioners
• Operating tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems.
• Diagnosing malfunctions and defects in equipment.
• Trouble shooting, repair and overhaul of refrigeration systems.
• Performing root cause analysis on refrigeration equipment failures to prevent re occurrence
• Provide technical direction on preventative maintenance for all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Trouble-shoot Air Conditioning equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on Refrigeration & Air Conditioning equipment.
