    Administrative Assistant

    To assist the administrator in management of Institute Committees, finance records and administrative matters.

    Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities

    • Planning of Committee meetings.
    • Drafting responses in routine correspondences.
    • Organizing and servicing of meetings.
    • Assisting the administrator in maintenance of accounting and finance records.
    • Systematic maintenance of official records and ease of retrieval of information.
    • Maintaining the office diary and records of daily visits.
    • Maintaining the Institute’s social media accounts.

    Qualification for the Administrative Assistant Job

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or its equivalent from a recognized university
    • Possession of CIFA professional qualification with CPA will be an added advantage.
    • Have at least 2 years’ experience in administrative experience.
    • Computer and literacy proficiency.
    • Excellent communication – oral and writing skills.
    • General book – keeping requirements.
    • Have good organizing and coordinating skills.
    • Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • A team player with the ability to show initiative.
    • Methodical and thorough approach to work.

    Training Officer

    The Training Officer will oversee all the functions of training, as well as develop and improve all the courses offered by the Institute. In particular, the officer will be expected to develop and maintain a robust continuous professional development programme for the Institute.

    Training Officer Jobs Responsibilities

    • Plan, direct and coordinate the training activities of the Institute.
    • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or to modify and improve existing ones.
    • Formulate training policies and schedules, utilizing the knowledge of identified training needs.
    • Review and revise training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
    • Conduct research in identifying training needs in the relevant markets.
    • Proposal writing in response to proposal calls for provision of training services.
    • Preparation and logistics for training events in order to ensure cost effectiveness and value addition.
    • Coordinate with the Education and Research Committee, Membership Services Committee and
      other Committees of the Institute for training programmes of the Institute.
    • Oversee implementation of the Institute’s CPD calendar.
    • Develop collaborative programmes with relevant educational and training institutions for carrying
    • out training and other CPD programmes of the Institute.

    Qualification for the Training Officer Jobs

    • Bachelor’s degree (with a specialization in finance) or its equivalent from a recognized university.
    • Master’s degree in Finance or its equivalent from a recognized university.
    • Possession of CIFA professional qualification will be an added advantage.
    • Have at least 3 years of experience in managing professional training or continuous professional development programmes. .
    • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
    • Be computer literate.
    • Excellent training skills including course development, planning and facilitation skills.
    • Project management skills including planning, and prioritization of tasks.

    Interns

    To assist the Institute’s training officer in membership services.

    Intern responsibilities

    • Assist in provision of membership services.
    • Marketing and Publishing the Institute’s trainings programmes.
    • Assist in implementation of the Institute’s CPD calendar.
    • Assist in organizing promotional events and digital campaigns for Institute’s training programmes.
    • Regularly update the Institute’s CPD register.

    Qualifications for Intern

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or its equivalent from a recognized University.
    • CIFA, CPA CS or CCP qualification will be added advantage.
    • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
