    Clinical Anesthetist

    Clinical Anesthetist Job Responsibilities:

    • Prepare patients for anesthesia in surgery by explaining any risks or side effects
    • Administer anesthetics to patients
    • Observe and monitor patients during surgery; and soon after surgery, responding quickly to any changes
    • Give anesthetics to patients having procedures outside the operating theatre such as sedation in radiology.
    • You’ll work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide the most appropriate and complete treatment plan to patients
    • Any other duty as allocated by the Medical Officer in charge.

    Qualifications for the Clinical Anesthetist

    • A Diploma in Clinical Medicine with a valid license.
    • Have registration certificate and valid license from relevant regulatory body
    • Minimum of two years working experience
    • Registered by the anaesthetists regulatory body
    • Applicants must be in possession of a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and a Higher
    • National Diploma in Anaesthesia, with valid certification in ATLS and ACLS.
    • In addition they must have a minimum 5 years cumulative experience of which 3 years should be in providing anaesthetist services in a busy hospital theatre.

    Community Oral Health Officer

    Community Oral Health Officer Job Responsibilities

    • Examine patients’ teeth and mouth.
    • Assess dental condition and needs of patients using patient screening and monitoring
    • Analyze x-rays and evaluate dental needs as necessary including medical history review
      and dental charting.
    • Diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions.
    • Temporary and permanent dental restorations.
    • Take, develop and mount radiographs as well as trace radiographs required for
      corrective treatment.
    • Undertake general treatment and care for teeth and tissue problems using specified
      equipment and tools and established dental hygienist procedures.
    • Clean teeth using brushes, and polishers to remove plaque and stains ensuring that sterile
      conditions are maintained
    • Fill in cavities, rebuild broken teeth, replace missing teeth, and remove unnecessary or
      severely damaged teeth.
    • Treat and help to prevent gum disease.
    • Provide instruction on dental care and write prescriptions for patients
    • Make impressions of patients’ teeth for study casts.
    • Document patient dental history and/or chief complaints and/or observations
    • Document lab procedures and ensure follow up on results.
    • Supervise staff and clinic processes
    • Keep up-to-date with new developments within the profession maintaining patient
      dental records.
    • Ordering dental materials, equipment and instruments for use at the clinic.
    • Reducing simple fractures of jaws.

    Qualifications For a Community Health Oral Officer Job

    • Academic & Professional Qualifications:
    • Diploma in Community Oral Health.
    • Membership with a recognized professional body.
    • At least 1 year work experience in a busy Dental clinic
    • Good communication skills
    • Team player
    • Computer literacy
    • Ability to work independently while prioritizing tasks

    Registered Clinical Officer

    Registered Clinical Officer Job  Responsibilities.

    • Clerking, examination, diagnosis and treatment plans of patients
    • Assist in conducting complicated birth deliveries, minor surgical procedures e.g. circumcision, incision and drainage
    • Management of HIV/AIDS patients through diagnosis and laboratory investigation.
    • Management of TB patients
    • Dispensing and monitoring of ARVs drugs in liaison with Pharmacy technologist.

    Health Records Officer Job Responsibilities

    • Participate in preparation of outpatient monthly reports.
    • Collection and balancing of DBR on a daily basis according to wards.
    • Issuing of general/revolving records stationery e.g. continuation sheets, inpatient files, etc.

    • Be a holder of a Diploma in Health Records and Information Management from a recognized medical Training College.
