    Audit Assistant

     

    This role is responsible for providing support in carrying out audits by providing independent, objective assurance and consultancy services in order to improve the group overall operations, with specific emphasis on the controls, governance and processes.

    Reports To: Assistant Manager – Internal Audit
    Location: Head Office – Nairobi

    Job Responsibilities

    • Reviewing various business processes and documents to check for controls and compliance with the company policies which includes Physical Asset verification and conducting systems audits. This involves:
    • Conducting interviews during audits;
    • Preparing working papers for the various audits;
    • Developing and administering surveys;
    • Summarizing audit issues;
    • Detecting fraud and conducting follow up investigations;
    • Identifying all risks including people, technology and process risks, and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of controls;
    • Conducting data extraction, analysis, and security reviews utilizing software tools to guide the audit process;
    • Identifying and documenting audit issues and recommendations concerning areas being reviewed;
    • Attending and observing auctions of salvage vehicles to ensure compliance to procedures.

    Qualification

    • Bachelors’ degree in Commerce/Accounting /Finance or an equivalent
    • CPA / ACCA equivalent
    • 2 years’ Experience in Audit

    Legal Intern

     

    JOB PURPOSE:

    This position is responsible for effective resolution of claims and offering legal advice, opinions and guidance to all stakeholders.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Claim analysis and resolution
    • Processing of service provider payments in (Turnquest)TQ
    • Recommendations of claim settlement
      Offering Legal opinion

    ACAD

    EMIC QUALIFICATION

    Diploma from Kenya School of Law

    EXPERIENCE

    • Fresh diploma graduate
    • Experience in using Turnquest will be an added advantage

    Legal Officer

     

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
    • Post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law.
    • Admission as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

    EXPERIENCE

    At least 4 years relevant experience in the Insurance industry.

    SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES

    • Good questioning, negotiating and influencing s& communication skills
    • Have own initiative and use the corporate claims philosophy effectively
    • Have the experience to know when it’s best to deal with a matter on a compromise basis or when a defense is more likely to be successful
    • Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently.
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Ms Excel, Word, Power-point, Outlook)
    • In depth knowledge of internal systems (Turn-quest)
    • Team player with high customer awareness skills

    Senior System Analyst

     

    ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field.

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

    • MCSD / OCA
    • Project Management

    EXPERIENCE

    At least 4 years relevant experience

    SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

    • Software development and programming skills
    • System analysis skills
    • Communication and interpersonal skills
    • Training Skills-Ability to train non-technical users on ICT systems
