    Supplier Quality Engineer

    Job description

    Reporting to the Contract and Procurement Manager the purpose of the role is to manage the evaluation and qualification processes of suppliers, in order to list them for different types of goods/services provided and to develop a competitive market able to ensure reliability and continuity of supplies and the possibility to obtain the best balance between technical quality and price.

    The Key Responsibilities Are

    • To develop metrics and report and Identify supplier non-conformance trends;
    • To plan, execute and deliver projects effectively within defined time/cost parameters
    • To track supplier quality performance measurements for strategic suppliers
    • To support supplier quality management programs such as supplier selection and certification
    • To manage, track and trend all supplier corrective actions
    • To evaluate and determine the internal requirements for approval of specific supplier change requests
    • To work in support of supplier certification activities
    • To lead supplier visits and supplier audits
    • To lead and participate in supplier development projects and continuous improvement activities focusing on supplier quality

    Contract Engineer

    Job description

    Reporting to the Contract and Procurement Manager, the main purpose of this role is to lead the contract award process and prepare all the necessary documentation under the supervision of the management; to liaise with internal Clients, and Suppliers respecting the company’s standards and practices. The successful candidate will also need to comply with the Company’s Control systems.

    The Key Responsibilities Are

    • Receive internal Requisition;
    • Analyze the requests and, accordingly, prepare the appropriate strategy, to be approved by the management, in order to meet the requirements, including:
    • Selection of suitable Bidders;
    • Selection of appropriate Contractual Standards
    • Carry out due diligence on Suppliers
    • Issue to the bidder(s) the Tender documentation
    • Act as focal point for the receipt and management of their queries
    • Receive the Bidders proposals
    • Organize the opening committees for technical and commercial bid openings
    • Ensure, under the supervision of the management, that the requesting unit provides an adequate technical evaluation of the proposals, if and when applicable
    • Prepare the economic evaluation of the bid for the approval
    • Negotiate under supervision of management (with the selected Supplier) prices, terms and conditions
    • Prepare the contract documentation and award recommendation for the approval
    • Ensure correct distribution of contracts to supplier and internal functions;
    • Ensure proper archiving and storage of all tender and contractual documentation
    • Post Award

    Reporting

    • Support the Contract Managers during Contract execution;
    • Prepare the Contract revisions if and when applicable

    Project Activities

    Take part to project activities of the department with specific goals

    Additional Responsibilities

    • To ensure the coordination of the ICT activities with HQ and suppliers and to manage ICT inventory and assign it to personnel in line with company policy
    • To devise and maintain office systems, including data management and filing (company archives and shared area), access to office premises and access to applications
    • To produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations, as requested by management
    • To ensure the translations and proof-reading
    • To provide administrative support for meetings in preparing audio visual and teleconferencing equipment, and taking meeting notes when necessary
      upon Manager’s instructions, carry out other duties and tasks in accordance with applicable regulations, company legislation, provisions of the contracts binding for the Employer, established working procedures, rules of profession and experience gained in practice
