Accountability (Responsibility)

• % of time spent
  • People Development
  • Ensure suitably trained/qualified/competent staff is placed throughout the stations to ensure the job holder remains focused on performance and productivity
    Provide guidance to Manager Ramp Services and Learning & Development on the training requirements of load controllers so that resources remain focused and are used cost effectively.
• 20% Leadership
  • Ensure risk management process is applied throughout the Kenya Airways Ground Services network (Load Control).
    Drive & implement Centralised Load Control (CLC) across all stations to ensure a seamless Operations from Hub To outstations.
• 20% Planning
  • Responsible for planning for load control manpower requirement for budget purposes in line with Kenya Airways schedules and expansions.
  • Roll out of CLC within KQ network.
    Ensure continuous follow on Load Control leave plan.
• 20% Financials
  • Track critical performance measures for the respective teams and measures of performance – KPIs. i.e EZFW as part of Fuel Saving Initiative.
• 25% Safety
  • Ensure and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in compliance with company procedures, regulatory authorities and requirement of customer airlines.
  • Ensure on-going quality audits, providing feedback and recommendations to relevant Stakeholders to ensure a cycle of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure non-compliances from an evaluation or audit is closed within time frame provided.

Qualification

University graduate Or Diploma in relevant Discipline with Weight and Balance Certification.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in Ground operations with at least 3years in Supervisory level.
