Role Description:

As a Technical Apprentice in Kenya Airways we assure you that you will benefit from authentic experiences designed to accelerate your career development in the area of Aircraft Maintenance. You will build your maintenance knowledge and skills by completing 24 months program within Kenya Airways’ technical department.

Upon successful completion of the program you will be placed within the technical department in a section that matches your skill, experience and competencies. The work is challenging, diverse and exciting.

Staff Development:

The program includes both functional training, (theoretical courses) as well as on the job training (practical courses). Functional training helps you gain the skills, knowledge and experience that will form the foundation of your career as an Aircraft Maintenance staff with Kenya Airways. There will be opportunities for you to explore other avenues for development at regular reviews with your line manager.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• KCSE aggregate C+ with C+ in Math, English and Physics
• Aeronautical Engineering Diploma or a recent Bachelor of Technology Degree in Aeronautical or Aviation Engineering from a recognized institution
• Demonstrated attachment in aircraft maintenance
• Should not hold KCAA licenses or its equivalent
