    Dynamics NAV Senior Developer

    Duma Works is recruiting a  Dynamics NAV Senior Developer for one of our clients in Nairobi;a leading unique ICT solutions integrator in the region

    Job Brief

    The Dynamics NAV Senior Developer will be responsible for a range of development tasks in projects associated with design proposals, testing, feasibility analysis, modeling, sample building etc. He/She will develop and implement new methods, designs and products. He/she will participate in integrated project teams and writes technical specifications and analyze / interpret test results.
     
    Job Responsibilities
     
    Will include but not limited to:
    • Technical design, development and testing of core Dynamics NAV granules and add-ons
    • Work with internal stakeholders to understand the technical requirements and scope out modifications and custom development
    • Convert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documents
    • Make technical recommendations for installation, modifications and custom development
    • Ensure development best practices are adhered to by other team members
    • Communicate effectively in all mediums and to all levels within the organization

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 4+ years of professional experience in software development based on MS Dynamics NAV platform
    • Certification in Dynamics NAV, preferably:
    • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 or later C/SIDE Development
    • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 or later Installation & Configuration
    • Experience developing for both Classic and Web Client
    • Experience developing RTC Three Tier Environment
    • SQL setup and configuration for NAV 2013 and later versions
    • Dynamics NAV Web Services
    • HTML 5 Experience
    • .NET Experience
    • Mobile Development
    • SSRS
    • High level technology know-how in .NET, C#, SQL
    • Proven practical experience with Client-Server programming technologies
    • Experience with Dynamics NAV Jobs, Service and Warehouse modules. Exposure to Dynamics NAV manufacturing an added advantage
    • Experience participating in Work Scoping & Estimation
    • Strong understanding of the SDLC
    • Ability to solve complex tasks
    • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities with ease
    • Excellent communication, planning and organization skills
    • Dynamics NAV 2016 experience/Dynamics NAV 2016 Extensions

    Job Responsibilities

    • Debt collection from credit sales conducted.
    • Follow up on debtors.
    • Provide them with the documents required.
    • Ability to reconcile the accounts and ledgers.
    • Meet the monthly collection target.

    Requirements

    • Age between 30 – 45 years.
    • Male / Female candidate.
    • Debt control experience 3-5 years.
    • Languages – Fluent in English, Kiswahili is a must.
    • Well versed with computers and ERP systems.

    Vacancy

    We seek to fill the position of Key Corporate Sales Executives. The successful candidates will be based in our Nairobi Office.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business objectives in line with agreed market development strategy. E.g Product launches, promotions, telemarketing
    • Manage key corporate assigned accounts while ensuring the customers are updated frequently on the latest solutions and products
    • Ensure that market share is gained against competitors based on:
      • Information given by the business development manager
      • Market intelligence gathered
      • Turnover of the customers
    • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
    • Gathering market intelligence on competitors and interpreting the same for the benefit of the business
    • Act as an intermediary for customers in line with the business interest of the company.
    • Provide a roadmap and detailed strategy for their assigned products and territory
    • Travel within the broader East African region to open up new opportunities and businesses.

    The Person

    • Good knowledge of I.T industry, preferably with a strong bias in software solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate at different organization levels.
    • High level of business negotiation skills
    • Strong Business acumen.
    • Sales Budget management experience.
    • An organized, determined and persistent person.
    • Good and effective negotiation skills
    • Able to promote cross-functional effectiveness in the team.
    • Decision making oriented & able to quickly react to changing marketing environment.
    • Excellent command of written and spoken official Languages in Kenya.

      • Be able to meet quarterly turnover targets

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
    • 2 years’ experience in B2B sales environment
    • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the I.T. industry with preference of having worked for an I.T company either in the capacity of a distributor or reseller
