Organizational Development & Career Advisory Specialist
The Organizational Development & Career Advisory Specialist supports the capability-building, talent growth, and organizational effectiveness agenda for TP Kenya & Nigeria. The role strengthens people capability through structured OD initiatives, career advisory guidance, and learning interventions aligned to business needs. This position drives assessments, development programs, and mobility solutions to enhance performance, culture, and internal talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Development (OD): Design and implement organizational development initiatives to strengthen capability and improve workforce effectiveness. Conduct assessments and map competencies to identify gaps and propose targeted interventions. Support culture-building and change management activities to strengthen alignment with TP Values and operational goals.
Career Advisory & Employee Development: Provide structured career advisory sessions to help employees understand their development needs and growth pathways. Create personalized development plans that enhance skills and readiness for future opportunities within TP. Track employee progress to ensure improved capability, engagement, and career confidence.
Learning & Development Support: Develop and deliver capacity-building programs that enhance skills across different employee bands. Manage assessments, feedback, and training effectiveness data to ensure continuous improvement of learning interventions. Partner with stakeholders to align learning programs with current and emerging business needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with HR, Operations, and other internal partners to ensure development initiatives address organizational priorities. Provide insights and reports that support leadership decision-making. Build strong relationships to promote a culture of learning and capability growth across teams.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze insights from advisory sessions, OD initiatives, and learning programs to identify development gaps and recommend improvements. Implement enhancements to strengthen the quality, participation, and impact of development initiatives. Monitor outcomes to ensure interventions deliver measurable value to the business.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Additional training in L&D, coaching, or talent management is an advantage.
2-4 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related HR fields.
Experience conducting career advisory, coaching, or capability assessments is an added advantage.
Coaching certification (advantage but not mandatory).
Training & Facilitation certification (advantage).
