    Biology and Chemistry Teacher

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced, competent and dynamic Biology and Chemistry Teacher who is committed to their professional development and will contribute towards the School’s stimulating and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will have acquired a very high level of competence in the teaching field and will plan lessons in line with the various curricula, with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning.Teach and evaluate learners through continuous assessment test/ examinations and other approved means of assessment, record the progress of learners. The teacher will also support, observe and record the progress of his/her class.

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of C+ Plus or above KCSE Mean Grade and C+ Plus or above in the teaching subjects at High School level.
    • Bachelor of Education (Science) Biology and Chemistry.
    • A minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in High School.
    • Proven track record in co- curricular activities.
    • Behavioural Competencies/Personal Attributes
    • Ability to work in a team.
    • Must be of high integrity.
    • Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Form 4 level of education and Certificate in Catering from an institution offering institutional management courses
    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in cookery with pastries specialisation as an added advantage.
