    Brand Assistant

    Job Details

    the marketing champion for the organization & with external stakeholders.

    Management Responsibility

    • Support the client service team in creating innovative marketing campaigns
    • Contribute actively to decisions on marketing events; compiling databases of likely interest, drafting and circulating emails and contacting invitees for confirmations
    • Assist in implementing and monitoring of the marketing calendar and budget

    Duties

    • Identify and realize marketing opportunities across all areas of the marketing mix
    • Coordinate marketing and promotions activities across all channels including physical promotions, online platforms and third party media to support our current brands and introduction of new products to increase sales.
    • Coordinate the product development process from initial product idea and appraisal to final product launch establishing timelines with all departments.
    • Take lead on creating marketing campaigns and present plans to stakeholders
    • Research and come up with low cost marketing activities
    • Study competitors’ products and services and create monthly reports to submit to HoS&M and CEO.
    • Recommend the nature and scope of present product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements as well as any packaging changes to keep up with changing consumer preferences.
    • Liaison with marketing agencies, designers and printers
    • Write creative briefs and create brand plans for our current and future brands
    • Take lead on updating our website to keep pace with our growth
    • Perform daily administrative tasks.
    • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing sales data
    • Various other ad hoc administrative duties

    Accountability

    • Decision Making: Prepare Marketing reports for final decision marking to the HoS&M
    • Supervision: Works independently in routine tasks under the general direction of the HoS&M
    • Responsibilities: Responsible over data or information- has access to important information relating to the company and Responsible over assigned assets

    Job Qualifications

    • Degree in Sales and Marketing or related field and MBA in business studies (Marketing option) is an added advantage
    • Member of the Marketing Society of Kenya Chartered Institute of Marketing
    • At least 3 years of experience in brand management at least 1 taking a responsible role
    • He/she must have proficient knowledge in:-
    • Market plans
    • Brand management
    • Customer care
    • Advertising agencies
    • Market surveys
    • Market activations
    • Below-the-line and Above-the-line promotions
    • Strategic initiatives and partnerships
    • Product management
    • Negotiations, networking and lobbying

    Supply Chain Coordinator

    The Supply Chain Coordinator shall be responsible for sourcing planning for all raw materials, actual procurement, receipt and warehousing of supplies and finished goods.

    Management Responsibility

    • Steer the Supply Chain KPI delivery and reporting.
    • Ensures internal and external customers’ expectations and requirements are met from end to end for each of the supply chains players.

    Duties

    • Assist in the formulation and implementation of the company’s supply chain strategy
    • Assist in the formulation of company’s procurement policy and the procedures to execute the policies.
    • Plan supplies and execute procurement of goods and services within the company.
    • Map the seasonality of raw materials, supplier hubs and develop a timely and sustainable sourcing plan
    • Oversee the stores operations and ensure that the stocks are aligned to both production and sales demands.
    • Provide leadership to all junior staff in the department and coordinate the activities for smooth running and achieving departmental goals. The supply chain coordinator shall: –
    • Assist Accounts Payable section with payment to creditors as per agreed terms.
    • Prepare all tender documents, draft specific terms for contracts and develop selection criteria for the same.
    • Implement all sourcing plan.
    • Pre-qualify suppliers, register and maintain supplier database.
    • Develop a supplier performance evaluation process.
    • Report appropriately to Chief Finance Officer, the CEO, Head of departments and other external users.
    • Develop KPIs for measuring service delivery for the different Supply Chain areas
    • Participate fully in scheduled quality audits and project assessments of Procurement and Supply Chain functions and with those functions that interface / integrate with the same.
    • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the CEO.

    Accountability

    • Decision Making: Prepare Procurement report to help the CFO to make working capital decisions.
    • Supervision: Works independently in routine tasks under the general direction of the CFO
    • Responsibilities: Take overall lead on managing procurement and stores processes

    Job Qualifications

    • Degree in operations, Procurement and supply chain or a relevant field or Advanced degree in procurement and supply chain or a relevant field
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience
    • Good negotiation skills
    • The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
