They are looking for an ERP Consultant who will help them in increasing operational effectiveness and productivity in business processes for their clients via the ERP Solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of ERP systems for clients.
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables per client’s needs.
• Define project tasks and resource requirements.
• Work with client to satisfactorily plan and schedule project timelines to guarantee on-time delivery for client.
• Track project deliverables and communicate with clients to deliver on-time and within the scope and budget.
• Keep all stakeholders updated on progress of project
• Analyze business/technical requirements and objectives, perform fit/gap analysis, and provide client recommendations.
• Document all client engagements including the creation of design documents, technical specifications, process documentation, specification, system deployment documents, ERP system integration and interface documents and publishing necessary reports.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve defined project outputs.
• Advise customers on best solutions in line with their business requirements
• Add value to customers through the provision of solutions that can improve operations at their site
• Provide project management expertise throughout the entire project.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Science from a recognized institution
• SQL and Database Programming skills.
• At least 1 – 2 year working experience in a similar industry.
• Must have good communication Skills.
• Must be articulate and have good presentation skills
• Must be flexible and ready to travel

Our client is a medium sized tours and travel company in Nairobi. They seek to hire a senior tour and travel consultant who will customize and handle end to end tour booking and offer client support in terms of providing the necessary travel requirements and arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Design flexible tour packages, excursions, safaris and other related services in regards to tours to meet the needs of different clients
• Create and sell innovative inbound and outbound tour packages to meet market demand
• Maintain and organize airline contracts, keeping them up to date
• Research and constantly source for interesting product packages to meet consumer demands
• Check and process ticket re-issue’s and fare calculations
• Ensuring airlines fares are loaded correctly and liaising with airlines to rectify
• Respond to enquiries regarding hotels & safaris within 24hrs
• Prepare itineraries to the various destinations of interest
• Keep clients up to date with  changes in the travel industry
• Ensure payment for each tour booking is received in advance or proper authorization is received from a corporate prior to credit sale
• Create contact with hotels, car hire, sightseeing attraction and other service providers for best competitive contract rates
• Making follow-ups on tour quotations
• Ensuring that tours quotations are competitive as well as terms & conditions
• Arranging to see vehicles (and if possible be accompanied by customer reps) before start of service to ensure quality and minimize customer complains

Requirements

• Tourism Management Degree / Tours & Travel Degree / Business related degree
• MUST have at least 5 years’ experience as a tour consultant
• Experience in liaising with international travel agents / partners
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Self – motivated, Confident and outgoing personality
• Ability to multi-task and get things done to completion
• A Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Our client is one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of paints in Tanzania. They seek to hire an experienced Production Supervisor to ensure production as per the given plan and monitor plant and machine operations of the factory.

Responsibilities

• Optimize all aspects of the Production Department, Plan and support the team in ensuring maximum utilization of operational staff & equipment.
• Plan,Organise,schedule and control production processes so as to achieve stated targets on production, and productivity.
• Review production on a day to day basis. Ensure that important communications and controls are exercised on safety deviations and Quality issues. Control measures are implemented and in place always.
• Implement plant initiatives and objectives in the Department – Safety and Quality Management Systems.
• Be a part of Safety Committee and attend meetings of the Department, ensure that all safety Non-conformities, corrective actions, preventive actions etc. are implemented and reviewed within the Department from time to time.
• Assist production Manager to carry out Root Cause Analysis for complaints and Implement corrective actions coming out of customer complaints.
• Review Yield for every batch in production and keep record and report monthly. Devise corrective actions and reduce variances in shop floor stocks.
• Study the trend of Process losses, deviations in Quality, deviations in cycle time, delay in servicing, carry out root cause analysis involving the team and implement corrective actions.. Take required support from Technical and Quality.
• Ensure Zero Customer complaints from production of batches.
• Ensure discipline amongst the workmen and ensure that all SOPs applicable in the shop floor activities are followed. Ensure PPE compliance.
• Attend training to learn and improve on deliverables.
• Review performance of staff and workmen working under you and provide them regular feedback, put in place their development plans and execute plans.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 year’s relevant quality inspection activities
• Must have experience working in a paint manufacturing company
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate technical issues and manage multiple priorities
• Good reporting skills
• Computer literate
